The left erupted in rage Tuesday when the Trump administration unveiled a new website that catalogs the truth about the Jan. 6 riot.
Unlike the Jan. 6 narrative peddled by the left, the website outlines inconvenient facts such as the Democrats’ own culpability in the security failures that precipitated the one-day riot.
The website also pays tribute to peaceful Jan. 6 protesters who were unfairly prosecuted and treated like insurrectionists despite proof that they didn’t even participate in the actual riot.
Responding to the unveiling of the website, CNN’s infamous fact-checker Daniel Dale predictably cried foul, calling it “fake history.”

But according to the website, the Democrat narrative is the real fake history.
“In truth, it was the Democrats who staged the real insurrection by certifying a fraud-ridden election, ignoring widespread irregularities, and weaponizing federal agencies to hunt down dissenters, all while Pelosi’s own security lapses invited the chaos they later exploited to seize and consolidate power,” the Jan. 6 website reads.
“This gaslighting narrative allowed them to persecute innocent Americans, silence opposition, and distract from their own role in undermining democracy,” it continues.
The site also accuses Democrats of having “masterfully reversed reality” and praises President Donald Trump for having “corrected a historic wrong” by pardoning those who were unfairly charged.
The site further takes aim at former Vice President Mike Pence for not challenging the results of the 2020 presidential election.
“Vice President Mike Pence, who had the opportunity to return disputed electoral slates to state legislatures for review and decertification under the United States Constitution, chooses not to exercise that power in an act of cowardice and sabotage,” the website reads.
“Instead, Pence presides over the certification of contested electors, undermining President Trump’s efforts to address documented fraud and ending any chance to correct the election steal,” it continues.

Leftists are also upset because the Jan. 6 website places some blame for the riot on the Capitol Police and their alleged incompetence.
“Video evidence shows officers inexplicably removing barricades, opening Capitol doors, and even waving attendees inside the building—actions that facilitated entry—while simultaneously deploying violent force against others,” the website reads. “These inconsistent and provocative tactics turned a peaceful demonstration into chaos.”
The website also slams the Capitol Police for having “aggressively fire[d] tear gas, flash bangs, and rubber munitions into crowds of peaceful protesters, injuring many and deliberately escalating tensions.”

The website concludes by praising President Trump for rectifying past “wrongs” related to the Jan. 6 riot by issuing “sweeping pardons and commutations” for most, but not all, Jan. 6 defendants.
The website specifically focuses on those “patriotic citizens who had been viciously overcharged, denied due process, and held as political hostages by a vengeful regime.”
As seen below, many leftists have called this version of Jan. 6 “insanely dishonest,” “anti-American,” and even “Orwellian.”

Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin, a former member of the House Jan. 6 committee, accused the Trump administration of publishing propaganda and being insecure about the Jan. 6 riot.
“The fact that they’re having to put up a little propaganda site on the White House web demonstrates how insecure they are about the situation,” he told The Hill.
Democrats also staged a forum Tuesday during which they trotted out Pamela Hemphill, a former Trump supporter and Jan. 6 participant turned turncoat and anti-MAGA zealot.
“Once I got away from the MAGA cult and started educating myself about January the sixth, I knew what I did was wrong,” she said during the forum. “I pleaded guilty to my crimes because I did the crime. I received due process, and the DOJ was not weaponized against me.”
“When Donald Trump pardoned us, I rejected the pardon. Accepting that pardon would be lying about what happened on January the sixth. I am guilty, and I own that guilt,” she added.
