Live-action ‘Snow White’ Rachel Zegler says original Prince Charming was a creepy stalker

Disney’s self-destruction was spotlighted in another clip featuring their new Snow White’s own contempt for the classic and Prince Charming.

Merely casting Colombian-American actress Rachel Zegler had been enough to clue-in canny consumers that the House of Mouse remained determined to tarnish their own brand. Subsequent reports on the seven dwarfs seemingly portrayed as nothing of the sort further signaled the remake would be thoroughly woke-washed.

Now, a recently viral clip of the star highlighted her disdain for a major plot point seemingly stricken from the script over the opinion the prince was little more than a creepy stalker.

The End Wokeness account on X shared the snippet where Zegler divulged, “I mean, the original cartoon came out in 1937 and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story, um, with a guy who literally stalks her.”

“Weird. Weird. So we didn’t do that this time,” she added entertained by her own musings.

Pressed on whether that meant the character had been written out, the actress explained, “We have a different approach to what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story just because, like, we cast a guy in the movie.”

She further suggested that the role played by Andrew Burnap could get entirely cut from the film as though it would make no difference to the story when she told the interviewer, “It’s one of those things that I think everyone’s gonna have their assumptions about what it’s actually going to be, but it’s really not about the love story at all, which is really really wonderful, and whether or not she finds love along the way is anybody’s guess until 2024.”

Previously, Zegler’s remarks alongside co-star Gal Gadot, cast as the Evil Queen, had revealed that the film would likely be a far cry from a mere live action remake of the first-ever full-length animated feature film. The actress had contended, “She’s not gonna be saved by the prince and she’s not gonna be dreaming about true love. She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be.”

The poor decisions being made by Disney were called out by Newsmax host Eric Bolling in July who addressed Zegler’s film in particular.

“Disney, on the other hand, under Bob Iger isn’t quitting you, woke mob. Don’t worry. Look what we found. And we just found this. Disney’s classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs…has now been remade,” the host said before going on, “They took six of the dwarves away. There’s only one dwarf now. The other six have been bounced and replaced by quite the diversity crew. I’d say, firing six dwarves, Disney should be sent to media diversity training for being dwarf-ist.”

For their trouble, Bolling pointed to Disney “getting slaughtered” ever since they were “busted pushing a trans and queer agenda into content…produced for children.”

Commenters saw Zegler’s remarks as heaping on to those losses as one wonders “Why does Disney even let her talk about the movie? She is talking them into a financial disaster.”
