Look on CNN reporter’s face PRICELESS after AZ’s Kari Lake drops verbal bomb

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake brilliantly destroyed a CNN reporter who tried to essentially ambush her at a campaign event, resulting in a priceless look on the poor reporter’s face.

CNN’s Kyung Lah approached Lake as she was about to enter a venue and the GOP candidate was very cordial as she set the reporter up for the proverbial kill, even shaking her hand.

“Hi, nice to see you. You don’t have a mask on anymore. What’s going on?” Lake greeted Lah, exposing a familiarity — more on that in a bit.

“We’re outside,” the reporter responded. “Do you have a minute to chat?”

“I’ll do an interview… as long as it airs on CNN+. Does that still exist?” Lake replied, before dropping a verbal bomb. “I don’t think so because the people don’t like what you guys are peddling, which is propaganda. Thank you.”

Boom! And with that, Lake proceeded inside leaving a dazed and confused Lah trying to figure out what just happened.

Lah has interviewed Lake before, with CNN setting up the clip by characterizing the Republican as a “conspiracy-spreading” candidate, a “rising star of the right-wing” and a “proud spreader of lies.”

Of course, the reporter should have learned from that encounter, as Lake did not beat around the bush.

“You’re buying into everything they say,” she told Lah, speaking about Maricopa County officials. “This is the same people who did not want this forensic audit. I know what you guys are trying to do, you don’t give a damn about our elections. You’ve got a narrative and you’re trying to push it.”

“And what is that narrative?” Lah asked.

“The narrative is, it’s fraud, it’s fake. I will be damned if when I’m governor, we’re gonna have another election run this way,” Lake fired back.

According to the Real Clear Politics average, Lake is leading Republican gubernatorial candidate Karrin Taylor Robson by 7 points. The GOP primary in Arizona is set to take place on August 2.
