Major Sunday shows memory-hole Kavanaugh murder threat: ‘Truth is so hard for you liberal butt kissers!’

The silence over the assassination attempt of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was deafening Sunday, as ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN chose not to cover the shocking event on their weekly news shows.

Nicholas John Roske, 26, was arrested early last Wednesday after he dialed 911 and told the dispatcher he was feeling suicidal and wanted to kill Justice Kavanaugh.

In Roske’s possession were a tactical knife and chest rig, a Glock 17 pistol with two magazines and ammunition, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, nail punch, crowbar, pistol light, and duct tape, American Wire reported.

Protestors over the likely reversal by the Supreme Court of Roe v. Wade have, some would say – with the encouragement of liberal politicians and members of the media — gathered outside the homes of conservative justices since the explosive opinion draft about the case was leaked to the media.

Since the credible threat by Roske, networks and Democrat leaders have done their best to downplay or completely ignored the disturbing incident.

The day after the arrest, when asked to comment on the need for protection for the embattled justices, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi replied, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. The justices are protected, but nobody is in danger.”

On Saturday, MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross kept quiet about Kavanaugh but delivered a passionate argument in favor of unionizing strippers.

Even liberal-leaning Bill Maher had to agree with Kellyanne Conway, the former senior counselor to President Trump, that the media is biased.

Maher blasted The New York Times for burying the story.

“If this had been a liberal Supreme Court justice that someone came to kill, it would’ve been on the front page,” Maher said. “If it’s not part of something that feeds our narrative, f**k it, we bury it.”

And on Sunday, when networks typically offer a deep analysis of the week’s biggest stories, the dismissive trend continued on all the major networks, with the notable exception of “Fox News Sunday.”

According to Fox News, “Most Sunday morning attention was given to discussing Thursday’s Jan. 6 congressional hearings which had received massive promotion by liberal hosts and Democrat politicians.”

They may have gotten a lot of publicity, but the Jan. 6 prime-time event failed to attract much in the way of viewers, despite wall-to-wall coverage on mainstream media.

“Television networks that broadcast the Jan. 6 Committee’s first summer hearing in prime time Thursday night failed to attract more viewers than on a typical weeknight,” reported The Federalist, which called the ratings for the Dem’s big show “dismal.”

But still, talk of Thursday’s hearing and the one airing Monday was apparently too critical to spare a few moments for a deadly threat against a Supreme Court Judge.

To many on Twitter, the exclusion of the Kavanaugh story from mainstream news programs is inexcusable.

“Truly sad that reporting the truth is so hard for you liberal butt kissers!” exclaimed one user. “When RBG passed, that was the only thing that you 5 [networks] were covering!”

“Keep up your bias, the people are watching!” the tweeter continued. “Come November, the results will be sad for you!”

“This is the nail in the coffin when it comes to the media,” another user tweeted. “They have more interest in a Jan 6th Hollywood production than in a planned assassination attempt on a #SCOTUS Justice.”

“Oddly,” mused a third, “a Democrat-ordered political assassination isn’t interesting to those who spent last week telling you that waving flags in Washington is insurrection.”
