Mark Cuban takes ‘L’ when Trump-Harris poll goes catawampus on him

Mark Cuban’s bid for a moral victory against the former president found the “White Dude for Harris” facing sad trombone music as respondents widely agreed, “I’m not raising commies.”

Like a pandemic of the un-fact’d, the signs and symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome were demonstrably varied depending upon the sufferer. In the case of the “Shark Tank” investor readying himself to participate in a “Hoops for Harris” call, this meant repeatedly getting owned on social media while striving to virtue signal on behalf of the Democratic Party.

The latest instance came when Cuban posted a poll on X, since seen over 7 million times, where he pit former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris against each other and asked, “Who’s persona and character would you like to see young children grow up to have[?]”

When only hours had remained for the query Thursday, the writing was on the wall with Trump ahead 67% to 33% prompting commentator Ashley St. Clair to react, “womp womp.”

More than 120,000 votes later the poll closed with the president crushing the Democratic Party nominee earning 68.9% of the support of over 804,000 respondents to her 31.1%.

The outcome that coincided with the vice president’s premiere campaign interview on CNN also came a week after a gaslighting effort about Harris’ policies had Cuban get trounced by a former lifelong Democrat and the original “America’s Next Top Model” winner, Adrianne Curry.

“Kamala Harris is not falling in line with Democratic Party Policies. Kamala Harris is defining her own policies, and the Democratic Party is falling in line with her. She literally is redefining the party,” tried the investor only to have be confronted by a reality check about the “dogmatic cultists” on the left and the simple question, “WHAT POLICIES??????? the only ones she has stated were TRUMPS.”

Amid the avalanche of prodding that Cuban received for the poll, that many suggested would get deleted and reposted, the businessman’s own words were brought back to rub in his face as he had said of Trump in 2015, “I don’t care what his actual positions are. I don’t care if he says the wrong thing. He says what’s on his mind. He gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. This is more important than anything any candidate has done in years.”

In August, Cuban backpedaled on those remarks during an interview with businessman Vivek Ramaswamy when he said, “In 2015, I was like, ‘He’s great. He’s not a typical Stepford candidate.’ I thought that was a positive. A big part of that is I didn’t think he had a chance. I just wanted to kind of screw things up in traditional politics, which I’m not a fan of.”

Despite his protestations, the investor’s apparent fandom of Harris offered him a chance to find out “how unpopular his views, and side,” really were as social media users made references to suggestions about past relationships giving the Democrat a leg up in her career while others juxtaposed Trump’s kids with the vice president’s step-daughter.
