Conservative political commentator Mollie Hemingway delved into how Congress should handle the investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop and the corruption permeating the FBI which has mishandled the scandal on Monday’s “Special Report.”

Fox News host Bret Baier noted that the sordid and suppressed details surrounding Hunter Biden’s laptop have been out there for two years and sought Hemingway’s take on the subject.
“Yes, it’s over two years after Fox News verified the contents, some of the contents of the laptop. There were media outlets that confirmed this prior to the election. Many media outlets, not just CBS News, falsely claimed that it was Russian disinformation. Part of the reason they did that was because it was an FBI operation to say that. And that there were quite a few corrupted intelligence officials who put that out there,” Hemingway pointed out.
“I think that the House when it’s looking into this, should not just look into the Biden family business, which certainly needs review, but what role the FBI played in forcing social media companies… or having social media companies censor this information, meddling in an election,” she continued.
“And there’s also been quite a bit of reporting that the FBI has not vigorously pursued various branches of the FBI’s investigation into the Biden family business. You’ve had prominent people including former Attorney General Barr say there should be a special counsel looking into this Biden family business and all the different things that the FBI kind of suppressed there. So this is not just a story of media corruption, but FBI corruption. And you’ve got the Biden family business which is certainly interesting as well,” Hemingway asserted.
If propaganda press couldn't rely on single anonymous sources, they would not be able to push any of their hoaxes and conspiracy theories. Such as the Russia collusion hoax they all peddled. https://t.co/7UbJM16uMB

A vital reminder: the media outlets that always tell you they fight "disinformation" united right before the 2020 election to spread an absolute lie: this laptop was "Russian disinformation."
I knew it was a lie right away and staked my career on it. They lied *on purpose*. https://t.co/fsPdA5HS7W

Baier then took over the conversation, turning to the computer repairman who is at the center of the laptop scandal.
“Well, speaking of which, the repairman, the computer repairman was on ‘America’s Newsroom’ this morning and talking about his interaction with the FBI,” he remarked. Baier then panned to John Paul Mac Isaac who is writing a book on his ordeal and had a few things to say about the FBI.
“I made a comment to agent Mike. I said, ‘Don’t worry lads. When I write the book, I’ll change the names.’ And that’s when agent Mike turned around and told me that in their experience nothing ever happens to people that don’t talk about these things. Which was kind of chilling,” he said, alluding to the statement as a perceived threat.
“I have been dealing with retaliation from multiple fronts for the past two years when what I did was leaked to the country. I’m expecting it and I’m gonna expect it to continue,” Isaac stated.

Baier then turned to liberal Juan Williams with a review of what did and didn’t happen in connection to the story.
“Juan, it’s tough looking back through the prism of what didn’t get covered back then. The fact that as, you know, we led into that debate that there were the 51 intelligence officers and former leaders of the intelligence community… officers saying that this was… had all the markings of Russian disinformation that was used by then-Vice President Joe Biden in that debate,” he noted.
Everything in this story was known and reported in October 2020, including the $5.5 million from China Energy, 10% for the Big Guy, etc. The only reason it is now acknowledged (while deceptively pretending it's new) is because corporate media wants to get ahead of GOP inquiries. https://t.co/Gzt4z69yJK

“And then to put the context on it, Juan, now to not have a special counsel on that front and yet have a special counsel on the former president and all of those activities… obviously, conservatives look at that and say there’s a real disconnect here,” Baier remarked.
Juan Williams predictably went on to pooh-pooh the special counsel poised to go after Trump and really did not answer the question. On the House side of the issue, he called attempts to use a special counsel to look into the Hunter Biden laptop scandal “performance art” and “red meat to the base.”
It is apparent that if corruption within the FBI and the Biden family business dealings are to be dealt with, Republicans will have to doggedly go after it. And in the meantime, Democrats will use weaponized government agencies in an attempt to take former President Trump down so he can not run for the presidency in 2024.
