Mom arrested after toddler falls out of moving car in traffic; video is nail-biting

A 35-year-old mother has been arrested following terrifying footage of a toddler falling out of a moving vehicle.

The woman, Jacqueline Hernandez, has been charged with felony child abuse after a video began making its way around social media. In the footage, a small child can be seen falling from the vehicle and nearly being run over. The mother stops the vehicle suddenly, nearly causing a collision with the car behind her, before running out and retrieving the child from the road.

The 19-month-old was taken to the hospital and is expected to fully recover. Meanwhile, the Fullerton Police Department reveals that a witness came forward with information that resulted in Hernandez’s arrest.
