‘Morning Joe’ serves up big lie, claims ‘four cops are dead’ because of Trump

Few television networks are greater purveyors of the big lie than MSNBC which has truly outdone itself this past week with “Morning Joe” Scarborough serving up a sizzling triple-decker whopper.

A one-time supporter of former President Donald J. Trump, Scarborough, and his bobblehead co-host and spouse Mike Brzezinski are tasked with serving up the first fix of fear and loathing of the day to the rabid hard-core haters who comprise the MSNBC viewing audience.

The former Republican lawmaker took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, where he repeated one of the biggest lies of the modern political era, that Trump was responsible for the death of police officers on the day of the so-called “insurrection” at the Capitol.

“4 cops are dead because of Trump’s riots. Ask their widows and children if Trump was a law and order president,” he said, sharing a clip of Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) who just endorsed Trump.

It’s understandable why “Moring Joe” would get his panties in a bunch after the black lawmaker’s nod to the former president which flies in the face of the equally contemptible big lie that Trump is a racist, one that his employer has peddled as much as the “insurrection” and Russiagate hoaxes.

As is always the case with leftist media spewing lies, the “fact checkers” were nowhere to be found, leaving X users to call Scarborough out for his fib.

The answer to a trivia question of who was the only sitting U.S. congressman to have a dead female intern found in his office, Scarborough and his better half were once big fans of Trump but things went downhill fast when the former president mocked Mika’s “bleeding” facelift and trolled “Morning Joe” over that particular part of his past that he’d rather have everyone forget.

Also telling the lie about the dead cops on J6 was President Joe Biden who falsely claimed that he and First Lady Jill Biden had attended the nonexistent funerals of the police officers who weren’t killed on the day that he and his Democrats have used like an American version of the infamous German Reichstag fire to target their enemies.

“Over 140 police officers injured. Jill and I attended the funerals of police officers who died as a result of the events that day. Because of Donald Trump’s lies. They died because these lies brought a mob to Washington,” Biden claimed during his demagogic rant near historic Valley Forge, PA to mark the third anniversary of J6.

But the notoriously dishonest career politician left out one very pertinent detail, the fact that the actual number of cops who lost their lives on the fateful day was zero.

Most famously there was Officer Brian Sicknick who the media falsely claimed was killed by a Trump supporter who allegedly hit him in the head with a fire extinguisher but the reality is that the Capitol Police officer died from natural causes the day AFTER the J6 mayhem.

But why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

One person who was killed on the fateful day was Ashli Babbitt, a female Trump supporter and military veteran who was gunned down in cold blood by a black Capitol cop. Biden didn’t attend her funeral either.

Liars will lie and the days when there was a legitimate media in the U.S. to hold them accountable are long gone.
