MSNBC host breaks down SOBBING in segment with Jan 6 cop turned cable TV pundit

Mainstream media did their part to ensure that the official narrative of the events of January 6, 2021 dominated coverage on the third anniversary of the “insurrection” and on MSNBC, one host even broke down sobbing.

During Saturday’s edition of “The Saturday Show With Jonathan Capehart,” the host sat down with Michael Fanone, the foul-mouthed, Trump-hating former D.C. cop turned cable TV pundit who has been lionized by regime propagandists and on the big day, he joined the Washington Post columnist to retell his version of the events.

While Fanone was just getting warmed up, the effeminate Capehart began breaking down in what was either an on-air display of his emotional fragility or a performance worthy of some sort of acting award.

“Officer Fanone, I’m gonna try to get through this,” the host said, seemingly struggling to maintain his composure as he whipped out a Kleenex and dabbed his eyes. “Thank you. For what you did three years ago today.”

“Former DC Metropolitan Police officer Michael Fanone was there that day. There on the west front of the Capitol, battling the mob. He was dragged down the Capitol steps. He was tased by someone in the pro-Trump mob. He suffered a heart attack during the fighting. And in a detail that crystallizes the horror that unfolded on January 6th, Fanone recalls insurrectionists shouting, quote, ‘kill him with his own gun,’” the host began, dramatically setting the stage for his interview.

“Despite having lived through that harrowing assault and living with the consequences of that trauma, Fanone has not stopped defending our democracy. He has sought to hold those responsible accountable, and he has an urgent message for the American people,'” he continued, laying it on thick. “As the 2024 presidential campaign season gets underway. Fanone told HuffPost, quote, ‘Ultimately, you, the American voter, will be the last line of defense when it comes to preserving democracy as we know it and ensuring the peaceful transfer of power. And it’s that serious.’”

“Officer Fanone, I’m gonna try to get through this. Thank you. For what you did three years ago today. Please tell me your thoughts, um, on this third anniversary,” Capehart said before turning the floor over to his very special guest for his song and dance.

While it may have been convincing to MSNBC’s mentally challenged viewers, Capehart’s crying jag was ridiculed by users on the X platform, previously known as Twitter.

Capehart took to X to defend his crying/acting, writing “And I’d do it again!” with an emoji of a clenched black fist, as if any further proof was needed that he is a left-wing activist.

There was once a time when there was a functional media in this country that engaged in the practice of actual journalism but sadly, those days are long gone and aren’t coming back.
