Mutinous campaign aides slam Biden for ‘complicity’ in the death of 20K Palestinians

President Biden is evidently experiencing mutiny among his campaign staffers who are denouncing him for allegedly being complicit in the death of over 20,000 Palestinians.

The gaggle of 17 anonymous campaign staffers wrote a letter to the president on Wednesday pressuring him to change his support for Israel in its war with Hamas terrorists after 1,200 people were killed in a murderous attack on Oct. 7.

The terrorists reportedly raped and killed men, women, and children. They tortured, terrorized, and slaughtered as they went door to door in the attack following Hamas militants paragliding into a music festival where the atrocities began. They kidnapped hundreds of others as well.

This prompted Israel to vow to wipe out the Hamas terrorists and caused leftists to melt down over it.

The staffers are demanding that Biden seek a ceasefire to end Israelis killing Palestinians, according to Politico’s West Wing Playbook. These are the same Palestinians who overwhelmingly voted Hamas into power in the first place and are now holding hostages for the terrorists.

The group also wants the president to end unconditional military support for Israel and is demanding de-escalation in Gaza.

“As your staff, we believe it is both a moral and electoral imperative for you to publicly call for a cessation of violence,” the anonymous staffers wrote in their letter that was posted to Medium. “Complicity in the death of over 20,000 Palestinians, 8,200 of whom are children, simply cannot be justified.”

Predictably, they also threatened that Biden would lose his reelection bid to former President Trump if he refused to change his stance on Israel. They are claiming that campaign volunteers have “quit in droves” over his support for Israel.

“Your administration’s response to Israel’s indiscriminate bombing in Gaza has been fundamentally antithetical to those values — and we believe it could cost you the 2024 election,” the staffers said blatantly threatening Biden’s campaign bid.

“Biden for President staff have seen volunteers quit in droves, and people who have voted blue for decades feel uncertain about doing so for the first time ever, because of this conflict. It is not enough to merely be the alternative to Donald Trump. The campaign has to shift the feeling in the pits of voters’ stomachs, the same feeling that weighs on us every day as we fight for your reelection,” they asserted in the letter.

“We’re reaching this point of no return where, as we’re working to get voters to support the president,” one staffer told Politico. “It’s getting harder and harder to vote for him when they’re so disillusioned by his handling of this conflict.”

In response to the brazen threats, an anonymous campaign official responded to the letter informing the anonymous staffers that the president’s position on Israel is “unequivocal” and is not about to change.

“When it comes to President Biden’s position, he has been unequivocal: Israel has a right and obligation to defend its people after the October 7 terrorist attack,” the official told Politico during an interview. “He also knows the importance of earning the trust of every community, which is why he is working closely and proudly with leaders in the Jewish, Muslim, and Palestinian communities in America.”

Tariq Habash, a political appointee at the Department of Education, resigned Wednesday after the letter was sent out. He asserted he was doing so because of Biden’s stance on the Israel-Hamas War, according to the Washington Post.

Over 500 officials signed a separate letter as well in November that was sent to Biden taking issue with his support of Israel.
