The Biden administration has issued an “NCR Safety Assessment” to warn federal government employees about potential threats to public safety thanks to pro-Palestinian protests that were organized in Washington, D.C., and elsewhere over the weekend.
According to National File, the warnings “were sent to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) workers via text message and email.”
National File obtained the cautioning message, which warned of the likelihood of “demonstrations targeting public officials.” Government workers were instructed to avoid protest areas and were told, “Do not engage with demonstrators as this could escalate the situation.”
It is a clear sign, National File reports, that “the U.S. federal government is concerned about the rising tide of anti-Israel sentiment and pro-Palestinian populism” following the attack on Israel by terrorist Hamas militants on October 7.
Even as President Biden presses Congress to approve his $105 billion foreign aid package, of which Ukraine will be the greatest beneficiary, National File claims the U.S. government “is losing control of the narrative.”
It is, the outlet reports, “acutely aware of the protest movement against” its steadfast support of “the Zionist regime in Israel.”
Thus, National File predicts, “the Biden regime is likely to continue fearmongering.”
“As the Israel-Palestine conflict continues, global demonstrations and counterdemonstrations continue to occur in support of Israel and Palestine,” the warning read. “The frequency and scale of demonstrations are expected to increase over the weekend in response to the explosion at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza on October 17, any major escalations of the conflict, and any further delays of humanitarian aid.”
“Demonstrations targeting public officials in the U.S. are likely in response to President Biden’s request for additional aid and funds for Israel,” it continued. “1st Amendment Activities scheduled for Friday, October 20, 2023, to Saturday, October 21, 2022 [sic], will be at the following locations.”
The Safety Assessment then listed a string of planned protests, including one in the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Friday, a demonstration at the Washington Monument on Saturday, and various protests in Maryland, New York, and Pennsylvania.
“Avoid protest locations and large public gatherings, when possible,” the Biden administration told government employees. “Expect traffic disruptions throughout the area to continue until the demonstrations have concluded.”
“Do not engage with demonstrators, as this could escalate the situation,” it cautioned. “Follow all directions from authorities and law enforcement. Monitor local news for reports of demonstrations or other disruptions.”
On Thursday, the American Muslims for Palestine invited sympathizers to descend on Washington, D.C. on Friday and Saturday for a “Ceasefire Now mass mobilization” and “march.”
“The genocide unfolding in front of our eyes is beyond anything we’ve ever experienced or seen,” the organizations said. “Our families are under attack and we need to take a stand NOW!”
In response, a large crowd met at the National Mall “for a mass Islamic prayer,” journalist Andy Ngô reported on X.

“I don’t understand how can they pray for peace in one breath,” noted one X user, “then shout ‘from the river to the sea’ and ‘gas the Jews’ in another.”
