‘Nice try!’ Ex-NBC exec tries to own conservatives by comparing Lara Trump and raunchy drag shows for kids

Leftist former NBC senior executive Mike Sington somehow believes that Lara Trump modeling a gown in front of adults on a runway at Mar-a-Lago is commensurate with obscene, vile drag queen shows flaunted in front of children and even babies.

“Lara Trump ‘models’ at Mar-a-Lago. Observation: There’s a very fine line between this and a drag queen show,” he disingenuously tweeted.

That “fine line” is more like the Continental Divide. Lara Trump walked a runway in front of adults wearing a stunning blue corset dress that is no more revealing than most bathing suits.

Sure… it’s just like a drag queen show, except it’s not.

For one thing, Lara Trump is a real woman. For another, the audience was comprised of consenting adults, not children or babies. And most importantly, there was absolutely no obscenity or crassness. Bonus point… it was for charity.

“Somebody (@BDRRescue ) let me pretend to be a model again today,” Lara Trump tweeted.

Lara Trump’s catwalk display was for a fundraiser. The two-day event called “Wine, WoMEN and Shoes” was held at the former president’s Florida Mar-a-Lago resort and for Big Dog Ranch Rescue.

The benefit also featured a “celebrity doggie fashion show” as well.

Big Dog Ranch Rescue promotes itself as “the largest cage-free, no-kill dog rescue in the U.S. We are committed to rescuing, nurturing, and adopting dogs into loving homes.”

Sington was pummeled for the blatantly false smear against Lara Trump:
