Hunter Biden’s lawyer hit former President Donald Trump’s attorneys with a cease-and-desist letter on Thursday, demanding that the GOP primary frontrunner refrain from posting “defamatory” comments about his once drug-addicted client before someone gets hurt.
“I am sending this letter to make a demand that your client, former President Donald Trump, cease and desist from making public statements about my client which are both defamatory and likely to incite Mr. Trump’s followers to take actions against Mr. Biden and which could lead to his or his family’s injury,” attorney Abbe Lowell wrote to Trump’s legal team.

Trump has never minced words when discussing the first son, and since a mysterious dime-bag of cocaine was found at the White House, he has been on fire.
On Monday, the former president alleged on Truth Social that the Secret Service “100%” knows to whom the cocaine belonged.
“The public is demanding to know the White House ‘Cocaine Story,'” Trump wrote. “Just like I QUICKLY PROVIDED SECURITY TAPES FROM MAR-a-LAGO on the BOXES HOAX, the White House has Security Cameras (far more than Mar-a-Lago!) all over the place, especially the location in question. THEY 100% KNOW WHO IT IS.”
“If they don’t release information,” Trump stated, “it means they destroyed the tapes & the Cocaine was for use by Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe, in order to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!”

According to Lowell, Trump’s attorneys have enough to worry about without having to deal with more “legal problems” stemming from his claims against Hunter Biden.
“I am a little surprised to have to send this because it would seem that Mr. Trump is currently facing enough legal problems that he would not want to create any more liability for saying and doing things that could result in harm and injury, and because it appears you have enough to do in defending your client in various arenas now and yet to come than to have to deal with one more legal issue and case,” Lowell wrote.
The lawyer went on to insult Trump supporters, suggesting they are easily called to violence like a rabid flock of sheep.
“The most urgent issue is Mr. Trump’s thinly veiled calls to action to his easy-to-trigger followers,” Lowell wrote.
As an example, he cited a Tuesday Truth post in which Trump wrote, “[U.S. attorney David] Weiss is a COWARD, a smaller version of Bill Barr, who never had the courage to do what everyone knows should have been done. He gave out a traffic ticket instead of a death sentence. …”

“You may respond that this was a mere figure of speech,” Lowell wrote. “However, we have seen that what might pass as such a phrase when uttered by rationale [sic] people is heard by too many in this country as some terrible injustice for which they must take physical and violent action.”
“Incidents of violence resulting from Mr. Trump’s incitement, like the attack on The Capitol on January 6, 2021, have occurred with tragic, even fatal consequences,” he added.
“This is not a false alarm,” Lowell stated, citing the attack on “former Speaker Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi”; Taylor Taranto, who “was arrested with weapons in his van in the Kalorama D.C. neighborhood where former President Obama and his family live”; and threats made to U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinheart, who approved the warrant for the FBI to search Mar-a-Lago.
“We are just one such social media message away from another incident,” Lowell warned, “and you should make clear to Mr. Trump – if you have not done so already – that Mr. Trump’s words have caused harm in the past and threaten to do so again if he does not stop.”
As BizPac Review has reported, the Secret Service announced on Thursday that it was closing the investigation into the cocaine, claiming it was unable to “single out a person of interest” due to lack of evidence.

“You know, if Mr. Trump does not, that Mr. Biden has neither committed nor been accused of the charges that your client is claiming … and that the Biden family was not at the White House (let alone in the vestibule) in the period when the cocaine was found,” Lowell wrote. “Mr. Trump constantly and misleadingly agitating his followers about the so-called injustice between what he is facing and what he perceives to be undue leniency to our client is exactly that which people use to justify ‘taking the law into their own hands.'”
“You need not respond,” Lowell concluded, as I am hoping you will speak with Mr. Trump privately and explain to him how his incitement can further hurt people and cause himself even more legal trouble.”
It remains unclear if Trump will curb his cocaine comments, but the threat of legal action against him does not appear to faze him.
“I never thought I would say that, as the leading political opponent of Crooked Joe Biden, getting Indicted and Arrested by sick government ‘Thugs’ would be my great honor,” the former president posted to Truth Social on Thursday. “I am doing it for our Country, to show how evil and sinister a place it has become. MAGA!!!”
