U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett warned her colleagues about an impending world war as she blasted President Trump’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
The Texas Democrat put on her foreign policy hat as she lectured lawmakers in a House hearing Wednesday, essentially daring them to declare that Russia started the war with Ukraine.
“It is time for us to say, ‘Mr. President, guess what? Russia invaded Ukraine!’” Crockett said. “Can we at least agree on that one? Facts matter!”

“This is literally, potentially putting us into an international crisis! We may be heading toward the next World War because we have a president that wants to pal around with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and wants to do everything to make him feel good — including lying about who invaded who,” she ranted.
“Mr. Chair, I got a minute left, but I really want to yield to any of my colleagues and ask them if they will say today that, very basically, that when it came down to the war in Ukraine, that it was not Ukraine that invaded Russia. It was the other way around,” Crockett continued.
“Is there anybody in here that has enough courage to say that Russia invaded Ukraine?” she dared ask as she was met with stony silence in the chamber.
“And this is yet the problem!” Crockett exclaimed. “This is the problem! That is not infringing upon free speech!”
The congresswoman’s vent session earned her scathing criticism on social media – adding to the backlash she ignited after her profane response when a reporter asked her a question outside Capitol Hill.
“If you could speak directly to Elon Musk, what would you say?” the reporter asked, referring to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) chief.
Crockett’s classless response was, “F— off.”
