Pelosi’s daughter takes brutal and bitter parting shot at Jill ‘Lady McBiden’

The daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi leveled a scathing rebuke of outgoing First Lady Jill Biden.

Alexandra Pelosi referred to the wife of President Joe Biden as “Lady McBiden” in a column published in Politico Sunday, one day before President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House.

“If I was Lady McBiden, I’d put on my big girl pants, play the long game, and think about my husband’s legacy,” Pelosi’s daughter told Politico’s Jonathan Martin. “There aren’t that many people left in America who have something nice to say about Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi is one of them.”

The column noted the “deafening silence from the White House” as the former speaker has reportedly not heard from the outgoing president or his wife despite a decades-long friendship.

“Since Pelosi helped engineer the parliamentary coup on Biden last summer, the president has refused to speak to her in any significant way, effectively ending his relationship with his pre-Baby Boom contemporary, the woman he once called ‘my Catholic sister,'” the Politico column explained.

In a Washington Post interview published on Jan. 15, Jill Biden expressed her disappointment.

“It’s been on my mind a lot lately, and —” she said. “We were friends for 50 years. It was disappointing.”

“Let’s just say I was disappointed with how it unfolded,” the first lady said.

“Pelosi has tried multiple times, I’m told, to have a conversation with Biden,” Politico’s Martin noted. “But she and intermediaries who’ve also attempted a rapprochement have repeatedly been met with the same response from the president’s top advisers: The answer is no.”

Martin depicted Pelosi as the “most critical player in last summer’s backstage political drama,” adding that Biden may have “weathered the crisis were it not for Pelosi’s Morning Joe interview,” in which she declared, “It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run.”

“I don’t think he’ll ever get over that,” Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) said of Biden’s feelings about Pelosi’s interventions in the 2024 Democrat campaign.

Social media users on X had little sympathy for either the Bidens or Pelosi.
