President greeted by chants of ‘F**k Joe Biden’ during Michigan visit

Pro-Palestinian protesters in Michigan borrowed from a recently popular refrain when they greeted President Joe Biden during a campaign stop — Biden’s support for Israel in its war with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Gaza threatens to cost him political support in the state.

The president traveled to the city of Warren, stopping at the black-owned sports bar They Say to meet with faith leaders in addition to meeting with United Auto Workers (UAW) union members. Protesters gathered outside the restaurant behind a police barricade, and at one point, started chanting, “F*ck Joe Biden!”

They also held a banner that read, “Working Class says Hell No! Genocide Joe.”

The protesters are seen in the clip below being restrained by police as they attempt to march:

Muslim leaders in Michigan accused Biden of shunning them and keeping details of his visit “secret,” according to the Daily Mail.

“The details on the locations he would visit were kept under wraps on the president’s official schedule, which prompted questions to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about whether the secrecy was a plan to avoid protesters,” the British newspaper reported.

Khalid Turaani, who heads up the Abandon Biden Campaign, which is demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, slammed the president over the secrecy.

“I believe Biden has failed his constituents on such a monumental scale that he is afraid to meet with them in a public forum,” he told the Detroit News. “Either way, the optics for him are embarrassing.”

The nearby city of Dearborn has one of the largest Arab American communities in the nation, and Mayor Abdullah Hammoud echoed that sentiment.

“Why not have a meaningful conversation for how you change course with a community that has first-hand accounts of what it’s like to live in the countries where your decision-making is unfolding?” the mayor asked.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
