‘Professional outside agitator’ caught on video by NYPD directing mayhem at Columbia University

Leftist radical and professional paid agitator Lisa Fithian was caught on video by the NYPD helping students take over Hamilton Hall at Columbia University Monday night.

The 63-year-old charter member of Extinction Rebellion gives credence to the claim that the left is paying radicals to stir up and incite violence on campuses across the nation. Protesters are taking marching orders evidently from pro-Marxists in the protests against Israel. Demands for a ceasefire against Hamas terrorists and divestment from Israel are straight out of their leftist playbook.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is rightfully claiming that these “paid” consultants are egging on the protests and fomenting hate against Jews.

“What should have been a peaceful protest, it has basically been co-opted by professional outside agitators. We were extremely cautious about releasing our intel information because our goal was to ensure the safety of the students, the faculty, and without destruction to property,” Adams claimed at a press conference Tuesday evening according to Fox News. “We have sounded the alarm several times before about external actors who attempted to hijack this private protest.”

“These external actors are obviously not students, and their presence on campus is a violation of Columbia’s clearly stated policy,” the mayor asserted. “This group… is an outside agitator with a history of escalating a situation and trying to create chaos. It is our belief they are now actively co-opting what should be a peaceful gathering. This is to serve their own agenda. They are not here to promote peace or unity or allow a peaceful display of one’s voice. They are here to create discord and divisiveness.”

Adams warned anyone involved with the agitators to walk away “now.”

“If you are a parent or guardian of a student, please call your child and urge them to leave the area before the situation escalates in any way. This is for their own safety and for the safety of others. These external actors are obviously not students, and their presence on campus is a violation of Columbia’s clearly stated policy,” the mayor said according to the New York Post.

The NYPD noted at the press conference that some of the agitators had been known to them for years. They also believe that the escalation in tactics they are seeing comes directly from the outside agitators.

“For example, police are seeing barricades being made out of furniture, cameras being destroyed, de-arresting tactics, property destruction, and signs being used to fortify and create shields,” Fox News reported.

“Police said even though the tactics really became exposed last night at Columbia University, they expect it will continue across universities in New York City and across the country,” the media outlet added.

The NYPD released the video during the press gaggle showing Fithian watching a group of protesters chant anti-Israel slogans.

“We’re trying to document them being a**holes,” Fithian commented to a camera person concerning two Jewish students trying to stop the radicals from taking over Hamilton Hall. “You’re right. They are being a**holes.”

Lisa Fithian has been busted more than 80 times according to Fox News host Laura Ingraham. She was part of Occupy Wall Street and has protested for climate change. Now, she’s part of the Free Palestine movement. Fithian is also rabidly anti-Trump.

On “The Ingraham Angle” Tuesday night, Ingraham discussed Fithian with the founder and editor of theeditors.com, Ira Stoll.

“Some of the people involved are being paid money,” Stoll pointed out, noting that he wrote an article for the Wall Street Journal about how radical leftist groups are advertising for agitators to be paid $3,000 to work eight hours a week for three months at protests on campuses across the country. “Some of the people who have been quite prominently in these protests have been paid fellows with hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Soros Open Society Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

“So, there’s big money behind these protests,” he remarked.

According to Stoll, some of the same people taking part in the anti-Israel protests taking place at campuses like Columbia University are also those who take part in Black Lives Matter and anti-Trump protests.

“It’s the same people out protesting. I’ve seen them,” Stoll commented. “They just like to protest.”

“This is an activity for these people, and until the revolution is accomplished, they’re not going to stop, or else until they are in jail,” he concluded.
