Rep. Anna Paulina Luna sends ‘criminal’ Adam Schiff direct warning on primetime television

U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) took steps last week to start the process of accountability in a hoax perpetrated against the American people, introducing a resolution that would fine U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) $16 million for his claims that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election,

On Sunday, during an appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Luna labeled Schiff a “criminal” for his actions, which included using his role as chair of the House Intelligence Committee at the time to insist there was “direct evidence” of collusion between Trump’s campaign and Russia.

“I don’t want to go into specifics, but I will say that there is evidence that is not circumstantial. But as I’ve said all along, there’s plenty of evidence of collusion,” Schiff said on “Meet The Press” in 2017.

“He’s a criminal. What he did was wrong. And, Adam Schiff, you will be held accountable,” Luna told host Maria Bartiromo, adding that Schiff’s actions brought “dishonor to the House of Representatives.”

Special counsel John Durham released his long-awaited report last month, concluding that “neither U.S. law enforcement nor the intelligence community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” which is the name of the intel operation targeting the former president’s campaign.

“I will speak to Adam Schiff. I have a privilege resolution that I’m bringing to the floor, and we are going to fine that man $16 million for using his position to lie to the American people and ultimately push something that not only destroyed our country, ripped us apart, but also too was responsible for almost, I believe, maybe even potentially permanently damaging foreign relations,” Luna said on Sunday.

The upstart freshman lawmaker noted that Schiff’s “egregious lie” cost U.S.  taxpayers “over $32 million,” as a result of Robert Mueller’s investigation of alleged Russian ties to Trump’s 2016 campaign that came up empty and Durham’s efforts.

“He was privileged to information that not even I or many of my colleagues would be able to see,” Luna added, speaking of his role as chair of the House Intel Committee. “He used that position. He absolutely aided and abetted a corrupt FBI into investigating a sitting president.”

Schiff, who is now running for the Senate to replace Sen. Diane Feinstein, used last week’s announcement of the $16 million fine as campaign fodder to claim he “stood up to Donald Trump and his allies.”

“MAGA extremists just filed a motion to censure and fine me $16 million because I stood up to Donald Trump and his allies. They’re 8 days away from defaulting on our debt, but Speaker McCarthy and his MAGA allies would rather try to silence me. But I’m not backing down. Ever,” he tweeted.
