Retiring Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has made her pick concerning who she prefers to replace her, and it isn’t the ambitious soft-on-sex offenders Scott Wiener in a huge snub by the self-proclaimed speaker emerita.
The former Speaker of the House announced that she is endorsing San Francisco Supervisor Connie Chan in the race for the seat in California’s 11th Congressional District.
“I know and love this district, I know the Congress, and I know Connie,” the 86-year-old Pelosi said in a video posted to social media, finally passing the baton to a new generation.

“I’m proud to endorse Democrat Connie Chan and ask you to join me in electing her to Congress. Thank you,” she said, officially giving her blessing to Chan, who has been on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors since 2021.
“I stand on the shoulders of those who came before me and fought for the same values,” the candidate said in her campaign launch video, paying tribute to the longtime institution in San Francisco politics.
On her website, Chan touts her endorsements, which include Pelosi, scheming Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, among others.
The endorsement was a backhanded slap in the face to Wiener, a man whose fondness for participating in pervert street festivals dressed up in BDSM gear seemed to make him a natural for office in San Francisco, a city that has long been a Mecca for practitioners of the homosexual lifestyle and America’s freak capital.
He has been an outspoken champion of transing kids and drag queens, with a video currently circulating on social media of a man dressed as a woman and wearing a pig nose singing “Wiener is a girl’s best friend” at a campaign event.

“Scott pretends to be progressive but gives billionaire developers what they want in Sacramento. He refuses to make billionaires pay their fair share in taxes to fund healthcare and food for children – when his own donors include corporate developers, AI, crypto, and Big Tech, and MAGA billionaires,” Chan’s website states of her opponent.
Pelosi announced that she was calling it a career last year and that she would not be seeking re-election to Congress, where she has occupied a seat since Ronald Reagan was in office, capping off her tenure as House Speaker by leading two failed impeachments of President Donald J. Trump, a man whom she loathed with every fiber of her being. She also parlayed her miraculous luck in the stock market into a fortune during her time in office.
The former speaker suffered a broken hip after taking a tumble down a flight of marble stairs during a junket to Luxembourg in December 2024, an incident that had some calling for her to retire.
In addition to Wiener, former Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Chief of Staff Saikat Chakrabarti is also running for the seat, with the two finishers in the June 2 nonpartisan primary advancing to the general election in November.
