RFK Jr. opposes transgender ‘females’ competing in women’s sports: ‘I don’t think that’s fair’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has never been afraid of going against the grain, and on Saturday morning, the outspoken Democratic presidential candidate broke ranks yet again with his party and took a stand on the issue of biological men competing in women’s sports.

“I am against people participating in women’s sports who are biologically male,” Kennedy told CNN’s Michael Smerconish. “I think women have worked too hard to develop women’s sports over the past 30 years. I watched it happen, and I don’t think that’s fair.”

In a sane world, this shouldn’t be a controversial statement.

But this is 2023, and people have been deemed “hateful” and canceled for less, so hearing a Democrat speak these words is enough to break Twitter.

Considered a moderate Democrat, Kennedy’s fearless opposition to vaccines — specifically, the COVID-19 vaccine — and a sensible stand on trans athletes is resonating among many Independents and conservatives who feel abandoned by their parties.

“Not sure why more dems don’t flock to him,” said one user on Twitter. “He seems like the only sane option for the left.”

“I’d vote for this democrat,” wrote another.

“I speak for everyone when I say we agree with him,” tweeted a third. “[T]hey need to fix this asap.”

As BizPac Review reported, in February, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act was reintroduced in the GOP-led House.

“Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports is a complete affront to the hardworking women and girls who have spent their lives training to achieve their dreams,” said Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.), who introduced the legislation. “It’s simple: biological males have no place in women’s sports.”

That bill passed last week in a 219-203 vote, according to Fox News Digital.

“All the yes votes came from Republicans, and all the no votes came from Democrats,” the outlet reports. “But President Biden has said he would veto the bill if it were to arrive on his desk.”

Earlier this month, the Biden administration’s Department of Education (ED) released its proposed changes to Title IX, which aimed to curb sex-based discrimination in federally-funded education.

The proposal would effectively prohibit schools from disallowing transgender athletes to compete against the opposite biological sex within public K-12 schools and colleges.

It’s an issue that continues to divide Americans, as women continue to push back against being forced to share intimate spaces, such as bathrooms and locker rooms, with fully intact men who claim they are now one of the girls.

In Wisconsin, for example, the Sun Prairie Area School District outside Madison came under fire after allegations from four 14-year-old girls who claimed that a male high school senior who said he was “trans” exposed himself to the minors in the shower.

Tthe school district failed to report the incident.

Reported BizPac Review:

Though “surprised” and “uncomfortable” the students were reportedly familiar with the 18-year-old’s identity and proceeded to enter “the shower area with their swimsuits on, which was their common practice as they rinsed off. As they began to shower, the male student approached them, entered the shower area, announced ‘I’m trans, by the way,’ and then undressed fully and showered completely naked right next to one of the girls. He was initially turned towards the wall but eventually turned and fully exposed his male genitalia to the four girls. Understandably, the girls were caught off guard and shocked, closed their eyes, and tried to hurry up and leave the showers as quickly as possible.”

So, as Biden continues to ignore the very real concerns of women and parents everywhere, Kennedy’s statement is carrying a lot of weight among those who are on the Republican-Democrat fence.

Said one Twitter user: “HE MIGHT MAKE ME VOTE DEMOCRAT AGAIN.”
