U.S. Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) showcased his world-class humor while participating in a town hall hosted by Fox News’ Sean Hannity, dropping a hilarious one-liner at the expense of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
“What do you think of the new leadership: Jasmine, AOC, and Bernie?” Hannity asked a panel consisting of a number of Republican senators.
“I consider Congresswoman Cortez to be the leader of the Democratic Party,” Kennedy said. “She’s entitled to her opinion and I’m entitled to mine. As I’ve said about her before, I think she’s the reason there are directions on a shampoo bottle.”
“Our plan for dealing with her is Operation Let Her Speak,” he added.

The question centered on outspoken figures on the left getting all of the attention lately, beginning with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Ocasio-Cortez, who have been on a Marxist-sounding Fighting Oligarchy tour, as well as new media darling Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), who is on a personal quest to take stupid to new lows as seen in her comment this week opposing the deportation of dangerous criminal aliens.
“So I had to go around the country and educate people about what immigrants do for this country, or the fact that we are a country of immigrants,” Crockett said. “The fact is ain’t none of y’all trying to go and farm right now.”
“OK, so I’m lying?” the Democrat added. “You’re not, you’re not. We’re done picking cotton. We are. You can’t pay us enough to find a plantation.”
