‘She’s gotten worse’: A ‘Biden fall away’ from White House, poll numbers for VP Kamala Harris sinking

New York Post opinion writer Michael Goodwin is ringing alarm bells that an extremely unpopular and incompetent Vice President Kamala Harris is just a “Biden fall away” from the White House following President Biden’s faceplanting at an Air Force graduation speech.

Goodwin made the nightmare clear in a piece at the New York Post, “It was alarming to watch Joe Biden take a tumble Thursday at the Air Force Academy commencement. But the really scary thought is that if he had landed head-first, Kamala Harris would be sitting in the Oval Office. Talk about terrifying!”

“Naturally, the far left would be celebrating the fact of the first female president, heedless of the risks of identity trumping merit. Meanwhile, the sensible Americans who make up a majority of the nation would be living in fear of the human word salad playing with the nuclear football and the possibility that her cackle could be the soundtrack of Armageddon,” he astutely quipped.

Harris’ approval ratings have cratered to an almost unbelievable 37% according to a Monmouth poll and her word salads have become legendary. A Fox News poll found in April that 43% of voters approve of her job performance and that seems far too generous considering her lack of accomplishments.

On “The Big Weekend Show,” commentator Tom Shillue contended that Democrats are “stuck” with Harris.

“Nobody could have seen this coming because we knew that voters didn’t really like Kamala Harris too much. She never really had much support. You know, and she attacked Joe Biden and then he made her his vice president. And then she came into office. We thought, well, she’ll grow into the role. She’s gotten worse. She has gotten worse,” he bluntly asserted.

“Originally, she talked to children like she was talking to children. Then she started talking to adults the way that she talks to children. So I don’t know what she’s doing, but I don’t know that her presidency would be much different from Joe Biden’s,” Shillue claimed.

Co-host Anita Vogel head-shakingly spoke of Harris’ so-called impressive resume but even she has her doubts.

“She is an accomplished person. Right? She has a law degree from UC Hastings. I mean, the woman has an amazing resume. She was a district attorney in Alameda, California. She was elected as district attorney to the city and county of San Francisco. She was the first African-American woman to serve as the California attorney general. She went on to be elected to the Senate representing the state of California. And now she is vice president. She is a seemingly very accomplished and smart woman,” Vogel remarked. “But when she gets in front of the cameras and in front of people, I don’t know what happens.”

Many Americans and those overseas have a good and alarming idea of what would happen.

Co-host Mollie Hemingway also seems confused over Harris’ failures because of her resume. She also admits Democrats are stuck with her.

“It’s very much a skin-deep situation. But Democrats are in a conundrum because they really can’t get rid of her. That would be something that would anger a portion of their electorate that they need. But she’s not helping out the ticket in any way,” Hemingway stated. “The one thing she does help is Joe Biden. Nobody wants Joe Biden to leave office so long as she is the next option.”

Despite many contending Harris hasn’t produced anything noteworthy since taking office, the White House decided it was a great idea to appoint her as AI czar to tackle the complex issue of AI regulation.

Fox News’ Sid Mohasseb wrote an op-ed expressing what a horrific move that was.

“Recently, the White House decided that appointing an unqualified, politicized leader is perfect for tackling the complex issue of AI regulation. Kamala Harris, who has now become the AI czar, will likely lead America into a very gloomy future. The nation must correct this blunder before it’s too late,” he bleakly wrote.

He elaborated that the Biden administration has thrown money at the issue and made for-show appointments but clearly has no idea how to address the problem.

“Regardless of whether the vice president is qualified for her current job, she was never a good option to become the AI czar. Her knowledge of the expansive, almost uncontrollable tech is minimal. Former and current presidential staff call her a bully and report that the White House has become an unhealthy environment with her in it. We also know about her failure to improve the southern border crisis,” Mohasseb wrote.

“Harris is not only an uneducated regulator of AI but an inappropriate leader to drive results in a high-stakes game. In parallel, an unbiased examination of the recent congressional hearings with the CEO of Open AI (creator of ChatGPT) and the CEO of TikTok, reveals the lack of knowledge of our representatives of what is at stake. Offering a no-win situation between the decision-makers in both the executive and legislative branches,” he continued.

He concluded that moving forward with Harris at the AI helm and a Democratic Congress following her lead would be a national security catastrophe.

“Congress and Harris, fueled with their political agendas and handicapped by their lack of understanding of AI implications that go far beyond privacy protection will have little chance of formulating a solution forward,” Mohasseb said.

“Let’s stop the political nonsense and showcasing in pointless meetings. Let’s not put our national security and humanity at risk as we put politics over logic,” he urged.
