Somali TikToker flips script to play victim, says Elon Musk threat was ‘twisted’ against her

After an alleged threat against Elon Musk backfired, a Somali TikToker dropped a sob story about being “misinterpreted” and having her words “villainized” and her voice “stolen.”

Somewhere between “FA” and “FO,” TikToker Fardowsa Muhumed has found herself claiming victimhood and “in fear” for her future. Amid calls for her to be investigated and deported if residing in the United States after an alleged threat against the life of the world’s richest man, she claimed her plain English was “twisted” from a longer video voicing concern for Musk’s health.

“If you told me a week ago that my name and Elon Musk’s name were being voiced in the same breath, I wouldn’t believe you,” began Muhumed’s new video wherein she claimed her life “took a tragic turn” for being “misinterpreted” in the viral clip despite the quote in question having been stated in English in the video.

As had been reported, while Musk had been expressing concerns about the ongoing exposure of fraud tied to Somali communities in Minnesota and across the country, Muhumed had posted a video stating, “I wouldn’t worry too much about him. He about to die.”

In response, the SpaceX CEO had declared, “Then it is war.”

Muhumed’s more than three-minute video lamenting her plight for being the alleged aggressor in this scenario included her claim that the viral clip had been pulled from a longer video and edited to portray a threat against the billionaire when, according to her, she’d actually been expressing concern over his health after seeing images of him in swim trunks.

“Instead, that message was twisted, stripped of its context and turned into something it was never meant to be,” she argued. “I don’t know how a billionaire can be scared of a little girl who doesn’t have half the power but, go off king. My words have been villainized and my voice has been stolen.”

As for framing herself as a “little girl,” both Mario Nawfal and Libs of TikTok dispelled that portrayal by detailing on X that she is a pre-med student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City with grievances against supposed “racial inequities” in healthcare experienced by refugee mothers.

“Talk about hypocrisy: enjoy the perks, then trash the guy exposing the rot. Calls for her expulsion and deportation are spiking. It may be time to sweat that citizenship a bit more,” said Nawfal as Libs had tagged UMKC and asked, “I believe she is a student in your medical program? It’s very alarming when those in the medical field wish death on people they disagree with. Is this acceptable behavior for a future nurse?”

As for Musk, amid calls for Muhumed to be “shipped back,” he had simply responded with an agreeing, “100.”
