President Joe Biden is hellbent on getting his $60 billion giveaway to Ukraine crammed through Congress even if it means giving Israel the shaft.
Not happy with the negative reaction from Republicans to the sham “border security” bill that was finally publicly unveiled on Sunday night, the petulant octogenarian will veto the standalone House bill to get funding to the Middle East democracy as it’s fighting for its very existence against the terrorists who want to see the Jewish nation wiped off the map.
With lawmakers at loggerheads over the controversial bill and concerned that help for Israel will be further delayed, Speaker Mike Johnson announced the $17.6 billion package this weekend but now it appears that Biden is prepared to hold the vital aid hostage until Zelensky gets his money.
“If the president were presented with H.R. 7217, he would veto it,” read a document posted to X by Jake Sherman of Punchbowl News.

“The Administration spent months working with a bipartisan group of Senators to reach a national security agreement that secures the border and provides support for the people of Ukraine and Israel, while also providing much-needed humanitarian assistance to civilians affected by conflicts around the world,” the White House said in a statement, according to The Hill.
“Instead of working in good faith to address the most pressing national security challenges, this bill is another cynical political maneuver,” the “Statement of Administration Policy” read, the outlet reported.
Speaker Johnson slammed the veto threat during an appearance on Fox News.

“President Biden came out and said that he would actually veto the legislation, the clean funding bill to help our ally Israel at its time of greatest need,” the Speaker told host Laura Ingraham.
“Israel is at war. They are fighting for their very existence and the president has our troops in harm’s way now because of the deterrence effort against Iran and he is suggesting that he would not send the funding and abandon our ally right now?” Johnson said. “That is outrageous. I mean, everybody who is watching this is scratching their heads wondering how in the world we’ve gotten into this situation. This president is projecting weakness on the world stage…”
The veto threat comes at a time when relations are frayed between the White House and Israel with a sizable chunk of the Democratic party’s Jew-hating base furious over Biden’s not bullying the important ally into calling off the dogs against the Hamas terror organization that slaughtered over 1,000 of its citizens on October 7, 2023.
Tensions are so high over the conflict in Gaza that could cost him reelection that Biden reportedly trashed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu whom he is “deeply suspicious” of as a bad f**king guy,” according to Politico, drawing an angry denial from the White House.
“The security of Israel should be sacred, not a political game,” the White House said in a complete lack of self-awareness.
