‘The hood is waking up’: Did Trump’s black support just SKYROCKET overnight?

It appears that black support for former President Trump is skyrocketing in the wake of his surrender in Fulton County, followed by his booking and a now-infamous mugshot.

Now viral video of Trump’s motorcade reportedly rolling through urban Atlanta showed black residents lining the streets to cheer him on and offering their support yelling, “Free Trump!”

As Trump turned himself in on Thursday, “Blacks for Trump” also lined the street outside of the Fulton County jailhouse. The organization’s founder, Maurice Symonette, spoke to Rolling Out about the group showing up to the jail to support the former president.

“Why are you all out here in Atlanta to support Trump?” the media outlet asked Symonette.

“I’m out here today because Trump is being treated like, what they would call, a n*****,” he responded.

“So why do you think Trump is being treated like a black man?” the reporter asked.

“Because he’s a Gentile. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham is the father of all Africans. He’s the one who had the children of Israel in slavery. Japheth is the father of all white Gentiles, Genesis 10: 1-5. Shem is the father of all the black Hebrew Israelites, which is us. I’m not a Hebrew Israelite like the ones who be cussing white people out and calling them the devil,” he replied.

“I’m with the Yahweeh Hebrew and know that Shem is our father. Abraham is our father because Genesis 15:13 says, ‘Abraham’s children will be carried away captive on ships and treated evil for 400 years.’ Nobody else fits that description, but us … the white Gentiles are our little brother … when [Dr.] Martin Luther King [Jr.] said, I want to see little white kids with little black kids, all of a sudden, he came up dead. When Malcolm X said, ‘Hey, I just discovered all white people aren’t the devil,’ two days later, he was put to death,” Symonette asserted.

Others were all-in for Trump.

“I don’t believe half of the stuff they are saying about Trump,” Dorthy Harp, a black Trump supporter, declared according to Atlanta Daily World. “Why are they always trying to attack the man? It’s because he wants to run for president again.”

Ramsey contended that Trump did what anyone else would have done after coming up short in an election.

“Here in Georgia, he just called and said ‘Would y’all recount the vote?’ If I lost an election, I’d do the same thing,” he argued.

Ray Worth, a resident who lives in Carroll County, stated that he came out Thursday to “support freedom, the ability for us to speak freely.” He called Trump “an advocate for free speech.”

He doesn’t expect any evidence to surface that will convince him that Trump broke the law. He claims that Trump was simply questioning the election results.

You’re allowed to do that. This is a free country. It’s called freedom. You’re allowed to say what you feel is actually true. I believe what I feel is true, and he does too,” Worth proclaimed according to the Missouri Independent.

“Racketeering is about stealing money and stuff like that. That makes no sense,” west Cobb County resident Jerry Ramsey, told the Missouri Independent, citing legal experts who have appeared on Fox News. “If you show me that some real crime was committed, then I might change my mind. But I have seen no real crime.”

Members of the black Trump group were also joined by self-proclaimed Mayor of Magaville rapper Forgiato Blow and others for an impromptu jam session featuring songs like Blow’s “Trump Saved the USA.”

Stoking the fire is the fact that one of Trump’s 18 indicted co-defendants is Harrison William Prescott Floyd, a member of “Black Voices for Trump,” and reportedly the only defendant now sitting in jail without bail according to CBS News Atlanta. Not a good look for authorities.

Floyd turned himself into the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta a week after being indicted in the Georgia case alongside Trump and 17 others.

CBS News reported, “Court records show Floyd, identified as a former U.S. Marine who’s active with the group Black Voices for Trump, was also arrested three months ago in Maryland on a federal warrant that accuses him of aggressively confronting two FBI agents sent to serve him with a grand jury subpoena.”

“An agent’s affidavit filed in U.S. District Court says Floyd screamed, cursed, and jabbed a finger in one FBI agent’s face and twice chest-bumped the agent in a stairwell. It says Floyd backed down only when the second agent opened his suit coat to reveal his holstered gun,” the media outlet noted.

“The records don’t disclose the purpose of the grand jury seeking Floyd’s testimony. But he was served during the months that special counsel Jack Smith was calling witnesses before the federal grand jury that indicted Trump on Aug. 1 for trying to overturn his election loss,” CBS News continued.

“Free Trump” is now trending with at least one man declaring that “Trump is a brother now”:
