With the help of the propaganda press, Democrats are once again dunking on Republican vice-presidential candidate J.D. Vance.
The latest attack concerns remarks that were made to Vance during his appearance four years ago on dissident Eric Weinstein’s podcast, “The Portal.”
During a discussion between the two men, Vance revealed that his wife Usha’s parents were very involved with taking care of their son and argued that this “makes him a better human being to have exposure to his grandparents.”
“And the evidence on this, by the way, is like super clear,” Vance said.
“That’s the whole purpose of the postmenopausal female, in theory,” Weinstein replied, to which Vance immediately said, “Yes.”
NEW VANCE AUDIO: In an interview from 2020, JD Vance agrees with a podcast host who says having grandmothers help raise children is “the whole purpose of the postmenopausal female.”
He also agrees when the host says grandparents helping raise children is a “weird, unadvertised… pic.twitter.com/W4KwHfZyw2

Both men were essentially correct. A 2019 study published at ScienceDirect found that “post-menopausal women devoted more time to grandparental caregiving.” These are the facts.
But because we live in an age of lies and delusions, Weinstein’s remark and Vance’s agreement with it have since sparked anger, revulsion, and even rage from the fact-free, illiberal left.
Below is just a small sample of the vapid bloviating from the left about the two’s discussion:
He is repulsive!

JD Vance needs to slither back under the rock he came out of.

Lol this guy is like every incel meme wrapped into one guy that’s sofa king weird

Honestly this is the only man I know that sits around talking about “Postmenopausal Female” just weird

I’m proud to be a single father, raising my own children, not relying on a postmenopausal woman because I think they have nothing left to contribute.
That narrow minded antiquated thought pattern has no business around the White House.
Who made .@JDVance the woman wizard?

The podcast discussion continued with Vance revealing that his mother-in-law, Lakshmi Chilukuri, had taken a year-long sabbatical from her job as a biology professor to live with his family and help raise their son.
Weinstein responded by noting that having a grandmother come to help raise the kids is a “weird, unadvertised feature of marrying an Indian woman,” to which Vance again said, “Yeah.”
Again, they weren’t wrong.
“Whether they are yours or your spouse’s parents, most Indian grandparents are part of their grandchildren’s lives from the moment they are born,” according to The Indian Express.
Yet how did the left and their media allies respond? You guessed it.
Look (*Language warning):
“weird, unadvertised feature of marrying an Indian woman”
racist, misogynistic fuck

“weird, unadvertised feature of marrying an Indian woman”
So was his wife a mail-order bride or something? Did he find her on Craig’s list?

How did an Indian girl marry such a vile person?! Unadvertised feature of marrying an Indian woman is that her mom will take care of your children? He is so embarrassing

Vance then noted that in “hyper-liberalized economies” like that of the United States, a woman is expected to “keep her job” and use “part of her wages to pay someone else” to raise her kids.
Later during the discussion, Vance also took what seemed like a shot at women who delayed having children.
“My wife and I have been pretty lucky on this front,” he said. “We haven’t had to do any sort of significant therapeutic interventions on the fertility front, but it is just much easier to have a baby when you’re 22 than it is when you’re 32. And it’s easier when you’re 32 than it is when you’re 38.”
This is true, of course, though it drew backlash. Thankfully, for every leftist critic, there was a sane conservative voice ready to defend Vance, especially over the “postmenopausal female” thing.
Look:
You people really hate the idea of raising children don’t you?
— SaltyGoat (@SaltyGoat17) August 14, 2024
You’re mad that he promoted the idea of the familial village? Man, y’all are DESPERATE.

We would rather have a VP (JD Vance) who raises and praises children instead of aborting them and sending them to Epstein Island.

Smears and lies and comments taken out of their context. That’s all we ever hear from you. How does this in ANY WAY show me how you will lower my pain at the gas pump every time I go to fill my tank? How does this tell me how you’re going to lower groceries or rents? Useless! -VJ

Studies show that grandparent involvement during childhood is positively linked to emotional development and cognitive functioning. https://t.co/IUfoT0EmkW
