As the first openly gay person confirmed by the Senate to a Cabinet position, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been the recipient of unending praise from the left. But nearly two years into his role in the Biden administration, it’s nearly impossible to point to anything of substance he has accomplished that would warrant such unwavering devotion, other than a few condescending comments, such as the ones he made while speaking at The Texas Tribune Festival last week.
Buttigieg addressed a bold move by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who dropped 50 illegal migrants off in wealthy, overwhelmingly white Martha’s Vineyard.
“Obviously there are issues with the border, with migrations,” he stated. “But these are the kinds of stunts you see from people who don’t have a solution.”
Now, an honest person would probably tell Mayor Pete that the “stunt” was necessary precisely because the Biden administration has “no solution” to the ongoing crisis at our border with Mexico, but instead, the Dems couldn’t gush hard enough over his smug assessment of the situation.
“When Pete Buttigieg comes for someone, he doesn’t carry a sledgehammer…he wields a scalpel,” declared one user on Twitter. “And in this must-see clip, Pete slices Ron DeSantis into a million little pieces.”

Does he? Does he, really?
Or does he just make snarky comments while continuing to ignore the human trafficking, violent criminals, and boatloads of Fentanyl that have flooded American communities thanks to the Biden administration’s complete and intentional failure to secure our borders?
Because according to Buttigieg, DeSantis is actually a narcissist who benefits from the illegal immigrants Biden’s minions have sent to the Sunshine State in the dead of night.
“I get if you’re after attention,” he said. “It’s one thing to call attention to a problem when you have a course of action… It’s another to just call attention to a problem because the problem is actually more useful to you than the solution, and that helps you call attention to yourself.”
The liberal Austin crowd erupted in applause and cheers, and no one seemed to notice that that was exactly what Buttigieg was doing: calling attention to himself, by slamming DeSantis while offering nothing in the way of a solution or even the slightest hint of concern for what the millions of illegal migrants are doing to completely overwhelm border communities.
But those facts are simply noise to liberals, who repeatedly lap up whatever comes falling out of Mayor Pete’s mouth.
“In a world of Ron DeSantis, be a Pete Buttigieg,” tweeted one starry-eyed influencer.

The question is, which Pete Buttigieg does she want us to be?
The Pete Buttigieg who gave up on what was arguably a decent 2020 campaign (compared to the disastrous show from his inept competitors so Joe Biden and one of the very same inept competitors could take America’s reigns?

Maybe the Pete Buttigieg who, as mayor, couldn’t fix the potholes in Indiana?
I am from Indiana. Pete Buttigieg is a TERRIBLE politician/manager. He was a mayor and couldn’t handle basic admin duties. As transportation secretary he was MIA during crisis. We don’t want him.

Or are Americans supposed to emulate the scalpal-wielding Buttigieg who disappeared for two months while critical supply lines fell apart?

It’s impossible to know.
But the fact is, as one D.C. attorney pointed out on Twitter, it is Pete Buttigieg who “has no solution.”
1. @GovRonDeSantis has a solution. @PeteButtigieg just doesn’t like his solution
Buttigieg has no solution
2. I’ve seen no credible evidence of trickery. I have seen signed consent forms

Below, find some comments from people who have, over the last two years, been less than enamored by Pete Buttigieg.
Remember when Pete Buttigieg was running for president, and in response to his poor numbers and low support with the Black community, he called us all homophobic and that’s why we weren’t supporting him, and not his abysmal record as Mayor of South Bend? Because I remember.

More flights canceled. Who would have guessed that Pete Buttigieg, a small town mayor picked as Transportation Secretary simply because he checked the LGBTQ box, would not be a wise idea?

Buttigieg is Sec of Transportation because he checked the minority box. He couldn't even fill pot holes as mayor of South Bend, https://t.co/VxQdhnrFZF

Pete Buttigieg ruined the roads in South Bend Indiana as Mayor and now he’s destroying Air-travel as the US Secretary of Transportation.

When Pete Buttigieg left his two terms as Mayor of South Bend, our city was in the TOP 20 in the nation for eviction rates.
