The internet is an interesting place, where you can sometimes watch people change their lives with just one post.
At least, that’s what reportedly happened to one “transgender HR lady” who made a snarky post that prompted a near-immediate follow-up.

“POV the transgender HR lady is about to ruin your life,” the caption reads, accompanying two photos of the poster.
One day later, the user logs back in to post a termination letter, griping about “bigots” who “managed to find my place of employment.”
Look:
I have no idea how the bigots managed to find my place of employment but cool.
Thanks for destroying my livelihood over a god damn joke.
I’m sure that’s gotta feel great. https://t.co/rIzsuCpP1F pic.twitter.com/LNV0Ig3poe

According to the screenshot, the company claims the post violated their “social media and sexual conduct policy.” Now, everything on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt because there’s no way of knowing if this is real, or one user’s attempt at engagement farming to transfer viewers to other, more adult-oriented sites.
That said, X users had plenty of commentary:
I love this for you bro

Somebody who works in HR should know better than to post job related “jokes” on social media.

dude i’m sorry but you work in HR, you should know better than anyone else how strict and fickle companies can be about their social media policies…

Not the one who got you fired, but happy to bask in the glory of their accomplishment.
It really does feel great.

It’s possible someone from your work saw your social media. You do realize companies check on that stuff right? We see this time and time again and if you show your face on social media it makes it that much easier to find your social pages.

That would feel great, yes.
In fact, your “joke” is predicated on exactly that fact.
