Transgender contestant beats out biological women to become Miss Maryland: ‘There’s no competition’

This year’s Miss Maryland is a man, a historic first and yet another triumph for the culturally dominant transgender movement which has been gradually shoving real women aside.

This week, the Miss Maryland USA pageant proudly crowned Bailey Anne Kennedy, a 31-year-old biological male who thinks he’s a woman, and who now gets a chance to compete for the national title at the upcoming Miss USA competition in Los Angeles this summer.

Kennedy told local news outlet WDCW that the moment he won was like a “whirlwind because I knew it was bigger than me. I knew that it was going to mean a lot for all the LGBTQ kids out there who might feel like they don’t belong in a box – like me growing up.”

“I felt confident in my own skin at 31, which is past the old age limit, which is 28 — as you know Miss Universe Organization lift the restriction now — so every woman of all ages can compete,” the new Miss Maryland added.

In the words of Joe Biden, this is a really “big f**king deal” with Kennedy being not only the pageant’s first transgender winner but the first Asian-American, another history-making achievement.

While leftists are basking in the glory of the “woke” moment, many on X lamented the ongoing encroachment of transgenders into women’s competition where real females who have worked hard for their entire lives are relegated to being second-class citizens.

In another big win for “woke” beauty queens, a morbidly obese woman was crowned as Miss Alabama, a big win for the body-positive movement which exalts being overweight despite the serious health issues that come with the excess poundage, not the least of which are heart disease and diabetes.

Kennedy who’s married to a miliary officer said he “hopes that it will open up some doors, open up some hearts for people to see that there are many aspects of LGBT community out there and I hope I can be a positive contribution to society in making a difference like the USO program like I’m working with.”
