‘Trump 2024, you’ll all get locked up’: New Yorker confronts reporter for ‘fake news’

There’s no mistaking the fact that the media is downright giddy over the coming indictment of Donald Trump in New York City on Tuesday, as reporters gathered in an air of excitement outside Trump Tower where the former president spent Monday evening.

Journalists were not limited to the U.S. alone, it turns out. Australian reporter Alison Piotrowski was doing a live hit outside Trump Tower when she was accosted by a very vocal Trump supporter who was not too happy with the circus atmosphere.

“Bragg is a criminal, Bragg is the criminal,” she shouted, speaking of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. “You guys are fake news.”

“This is one of a handful of (Trump) supporters that has come down this morning,” Piotrowski said on air.

“Handful of supporters? You people never tell the godd*mn truth, ever. Ever,” the woman said, in a thick New York accent. “You and your made-up facts.”

The smiling reporter noted on air that she had interviewed some of the Trump supporters earlier, in an apparent attempt to express a lack of bias.

The Trump supporter concluded with this ominous note, “Trump 2024, you’ll all get locked up.”

The former president can be seen in the clip below waving to supporters Monday as he entered Trump Tower:

As for the scene outside, well circus-like proves to be a fair assessment:
