Trump launches warning shot at Biden campaign, shatters fundraising record as he hits the campaign trail

Former President Trump is wasting no time getting back to work and is hitting the campaign trail more determined than ever to unseat Biden.

Trump will hold a presser at 11 a.m. on Friday at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. He’s figuratively giving Biden the bird as he hammers what he calls a “rigged, disgraceful trial” where he was convicted of 34 felonies over alleged “hush money” payments.

The former president’s campaign also fired a warning shot at the Biden administration.

Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt did not mince words in a statement given to Fox News, “Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats confined President Trump to a courtroom for more than eight hours a day for more than six weeks, and he’s still winning. Now that he is fully back on the campaign trail, Biden and the Democrats better buckle up.”

According to Leavitt, the Trump team raised “billions of dollars” during media coverage of his kangaroo court trial. According to a statement released by the Trump campaign on Friday, they received “a record-shattering small-dollar fundraising haul following the sham Biden Trial verdict totaling $34.8 million — nearly double the biggest day ever recorded for the Trump campaign on the WinRed platform.” Trump also continued to hold rallies and make campaign stops while he “increased his lead over crooked Joe Biden in the polls.”

“Not even a witch hunt trial could slow him down. In fact, it only made him stronger,” Leavitt declared.

She has a point. The conviction of Trump has made him a martyr and even those who don’t like him are now voting for him and donating to his campaign.

Trump raged at the verdict calling it “rigged” and “disgraceful.” He was found guilty on all 34 counts Thursday.

“The real verdict will be Nov. 5 by the people … I’m a very innocent man,” he proclaimed Thursday slamming Biden, DA Alvin Bragg, and Judge Juan Merchan.

“I’m fighting for our country, I’m fighting for our Constitution,” Trump asserted. “We’re a nation in decline.”

The former president made a brief statement after leaving the court following the biased verdict.

“Trump also accused Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan of being ‘conflicted’ and ‘corrupt,’ claiming his decision not to grant Trump’s bid for a venue change outside Manhattan — a district that overwhelmingly polls in Biden’s favor — directly led to the guilty verdict,” Fox News reported.

“Our whole country is being rigged right now. This was done by the Biden administration in order to vote to wound or hurt an opponent, a political opponent. And I think it’s just a disgrace,” Trump railed.

Immediately before his statements a fundraising memo was posted on Truth Social where Trump described himself as a “political prisoner.” His fundraising site crashed while one of his campaign committees reportedly secured an $800,000 donation according to Fox News.

“So many Americans were moved to donate to President Trump’s campaign that the WinRed pages went down,” the Trump campaign posted on X.

Trump is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11, four days before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

That does not appear to be a coincidence and many believe that Trump will be imprisoned. That will not stop the former president as his popularity soars and Biden’s sours.
