President Donald J. Trump urged the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to “look into” NBC’s license over Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show, suggesting that execs are afraid to cancel the race-baiting reverend because it wouldn’t be “politically correct.”
In a Sunday post to Truth Social, Trump shared an old picture of the controversial host from the days when he was young and fat, slamming the cable network’s acting as a propaganda organ for the Democratic Party and taking a shot at ABC News for its political bias as well.
Trump posted the pic of the now 71-year-old host, which shows Sharpton in a red shirt that’s bulging at the seams, suspenders, and a gold medallion, recalling how Reverend Al would invite him to rallies to draw crowds until he leeched onto the Tawana Brawley racial rape hoax as a meal ticket that turned him into a national figure.
JUST IN: President Trump posted this about Al Sharpton and says NBC should potentially have its FCC license REVOKED

“I knew Al Sharpton for many years, not that it matters, but he was a major ‘TRUMP’ fan. He’d ask me to go to his fake Rallies all the time, because I brought BIG Crowds, and he couldn’t get anybody to come without me. Then he did the Tawana Brawley Hoax, one of the worst Low Level Scams in History, and that set him back, BIG TIME!” Trump began.
“Then he got to know Brian Roberts, Chairman of Fake News NBC, who gave him what would become one of the Lowest Rated Shows in Television History. Roberts is afraid to take him off because it wouldn’t be “Politically Correct.” This is just one of the many reasons that the Federal Communications Commission should look into the license of NBC, which shows almost exclusively positive Democrat content,” he continued.
“Likewise, ABC Fake News — About the same thing, 97% negative to Republicans!” Trump concluded.
Roberts is the CEO of Comcast, and while NBC and MSNBC are two separate networks under the NBCUniversal umbrella – with the left-wing cable network being spun off into a new entity – Trump was making a point about the relentlessly negative coverage of himself and other Republicans.
Sharpton hosts the weekend show “PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton” and uses that platform to stir the pot of anti-white resentment, which has made him a rich man over his long career as a racial arsonist.
Last year, the reverend sparked controversy when it was revealed that his National Action Network received money from the campaign of failed Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Sharpton would later sit down with the doomed candidate for a gushing interview just before the election, which she would go on to decisively lose.
Despite calls for him to be taken off the air, MSNBC declined to discipline its host despite the unseemly payola and malodorous impropriety of giving Harris a tongue bath after getting money from her. Sharpton also spearheaded a boycott of big-box retailer Target and other companies that walked back their commitment to discriminatory DEI policies earlier this year.
In 1987, the 15-year-old Brawley, who is black, was found wearing a trash bag, smeared with feces, and had racial slurs written on her body after she went missing for several days. She accused four white men of raping her in a story that drew national outrage, with Sharpton playing a central role in promoting her claims, which turned out to be a complete hoax but made him into a household name.
The president’s call for the FCC to get involved is guaranteed to trigger Democrats who went berserk after FCC Chairman Brendan Carr warned ABC after late-night host Jimmy Kimmel blatantly lied to his audience that slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk’s assassin was a MAGA Republican. The Disney-owned network briefly pulled Chuck Schumer’s ventriloquist dummy off the air, but brought him back immediately after Kirk’s funeral.
“I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He ‘loved Trump!’ He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops!” Trump wrote in a 2019 post to Twitter, since rebranded as X.
