Trump: ‘Comrade Kamala’ has gone ‘full communist’ with economic policy handouts

Former President Donald J. Trump blasted Democrat nominee Kamala Harris after she unveiled economic proposals that are so extreme, some have likened them to communism.

In the first hint of how she will govern if installed in the White House, the current vice president pledged that she will declare war on “price gouging” by imposing price controls on the grocery industry and unleashing federal bureaucrats to enforce them, a sign that she will drag the country even more to the left than Joe Biden has.

“In her speech yesterday, Kamala went full communist. You heard that? She went full communist,” Trump told a raucous crowd at a rally in the critical swing state of Pennsylvania on Saturday.

“She wants to destroy our country. After causing catastrophic inflation, Comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls,” Trump told supporters at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre.

“Never worked before, never ever worked,” he said. “This is the Maduro plan, Venezuela, Maduro plan of like the old Soviet Union,” referring to Venezuela’s socialist strongman Nicolas Maduro.

“This is they tried it, how did the Soviet Union work out?” Trump asked. “It became Russia, smaller version, it was a smaller version. It will cause rationing, hunger, and skyrocketing prices just like their Inflation Reduction Act caused, one of the great scams of all time.”

The Republican nominee was referring to the Orwellian-titled 2022 legislative package that further locked in the economic woe inflicted on America by the Biden-Harris administration.

“They got it approved with a beautiful name, inflation reduction, because inflation under their system has been so bad, it’s gone up much more than 50 percent, you know they say 30, 40, 50, much more, people are being devastated,” he said.

Harris’ vow to tackle inflation is just more of the same gaslighting that pretends that she hasn’t been in power for the last three and a half years when Americans have been crushed and slowly bled out by the higher costs for food, energy, housing, insurance, and medical care.

“If you think things are expensive now, they will get 100 times WORSE if Kamala gets four years as President. Under her plan, Kamala will implement SOVIET Style Price Controls. She will abolish private health care, and make California’s ridiculous tax policies the law of the land, meaning EVERY American will be taxed up to 80% of their income! If you want more CASH and less TAX, VOTE TRUMP!!!” Trump said in a post to X, sharing a clip from CNN critiquing “Comrade Kamala” and her price control proposal.

“It’s a communist system. … She’s promising to hand out things she can’t deliver. She’ll never get them approved,” Trump said. “Just like when she and Crooked Joe tried to give away student debt. How did that work out? Not too good.”
