Trump: ‘I’d be the greatest women’s basketball coach in history … LeBron, did you ever have any desire to be a woman?’

Former President Donald Trump has no trouble stirring the liberal media, but somehow his remarks over the weekend about asking LeBron James if he had “any desire to be a woman” flew under the radar.

Speaking at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit in Tampa on Saturday, Trump suggested he would be a great women’s basketball coach while focusing on biological males who identify as women being allowed to compete against biological females.

“I’d be the greatest women’s basketball coach in history,” the former president said. “I don’t like LeBron James, I like Michael Jordan much better. But, I’d go up to LeBron James… I’d say, ‘LeBron, did you ever have any desire to be a woman? Because what I’d love you to do is star on my team that I’m building up.'”

“I will have the greatest team in history. They will never lose. Nobody will come within 70 points of this team,” Trump added.

While you may get a spirited debate online about LeBron’s feminist characteristics, there’s no chance he would play for Trump even IF he did decide to start identifying as a woman. The NBA player is a radical left social justice warrior who shares few if any values with Trump.

As for Trump’s remarks about competition, or the lack thereof, University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas comes to mind. A transgender athlete, Thomas went from a #462 ranking in men’s swimming to #1 in women’s swimming.

The former president stressed that he supported a move to ban transgender women from participating in women’s athletics.

“We have to change that. And we have to make it OK to talk about it,” Trump said.

In related news, Lia Thomas was denied the NCAA “Woman of the Year” award on Tuesday after the woke University of Pennsylvania nominated the transgender athlete.
