Trump insists GOP more unified than ever despite ‘lowlifes’ like MTG, Massie

President Donald Trump marked a congressional resignation as a win for the Republican Party as he called out “other ‘lowlifes'” who separated themselves from something “MUCH BIGGER.”

Friday evening, as many had already turned their attention to the Thanksgiving holiday ahead, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R) public falling out with the administration culminated in her announcement that she’d be resigning in the new year. Sunday, the president lumped her with Kentucky Republicans Sen. Rand Paul and Rep. Thomas Massie as being separate from the party that “has never been so UNITED.”

Keeping with his nicknames for the members of Congress, which included referring to Greene as “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown (Remember, Green turns to Brown where there is ROT involved!),” Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday to express, “The Republican Party has never been so UNITED AS IT IS RIGHT NOW!”

“Other than Rand Paul, Rand Paul Jr. (Massie!), Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Brown, and a couple of other ‘lowlifes,’ and other than the fact that many want the Election threatening Filibuster TERMINATED (the Dems will do it in the first minute of their first chance!), and some don’t, there is great spirit and cohesion — Plus, the Republican Party is MUCH BIGGER than it was when I announced in 2015 or, ever was before — Many Millions More Members!” added the chief executive.

The president went on to conclude the post, “We now have the Strongest Border EVER, Biggest Tax Cuts, the Best Economy, Highest Stock Market in USA History, and sooo much more. BUT, THE BEST IS YET TO COME! VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!”

Trump’s post reaffirmed his stance regarding Republican outliers on Capitol Hill a day after presenting a softer tone on Greene.

When asked if he’d be willing to forgive the congresswoman, the president first asked, “Forgive for what?”

“I just disagreed with her philosophy,” he went on. “She started backing, perhaps the worst Republican congressman in our history … you know, stupid person named Massie, and I said go your own way. Once I left her, she resigned because she wouldn’t have; she would never have survived a primary. But I think she’s a nice person.”

That statement came hours after he addressed Greene’s “PLUMMETING Poll Numbers” and the likelihood that she would be confronted with a “Primary Challenger with a strong Trump Endorsement (where she would have no chance of winning!)” in response to her announced resignation.

Referencing Massie and Paul in that post as well, the president concluded on the congresswoman, “Nevertheless, I will always appreciate Marjorie, and thank her for her service to our Country!”

Meanwhile, the Kentucky representative responded to Greene’s resignation by captioning her lengthy statement on X, “I’m very sad for our country but so happy for my friend Marjorie. I’ll miss her tremendously. She embodies what a true Representative should be. Everyone should read her statement; there’s more honesty expressed in these four pages than most politicians will speak in a lifetime.”
