President Donald Trump gave Americans a look at a Department of War ad that will debut during the Freedom 250 UFC fight at the White House.
On Friday afternoon, the president took to Truth Social with a sneak peek of the War Department’s newest ad, which touts the adage of “peace through strength.” It marks a significant departure from the message of previous administrations, which critics argue was too permissive and “woke.”

“This Sunday Night, during the historic Freedom 250 UFC Fight at the White House, The Department of War will debut their first TV Ad, entitled ‘Peace Through Strength.’ WATCH IT BELOW. The Warrior Ethos is BACK at the War Department, and we call on our greatest young Americans to join our Great Fighting (when necessary!) Machine,” the president wrote.
The “warrior ethos” has been the focus of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s leadership at the department, aiming to prioritize power over pronouns and warfighter readiness over wokeness. This has come under fire from DEI-loving leftists and from those who argue that they won’t support any new wars, even if they support the president.
X users came in with mixed reactions to the ad:

This deal has to be fake. We have to be taking Kharg Island and defeating Iran for Trump’s birthday. Gotta bomb the hell out of them on UFC fight night. https://t.co/nxd7L9H27v

Peace through strength is weak and pathetic.
The White House should be seeking total conquest of entire nations, through war if necessary. Failure of the imagination. https://t.co/2J4hZNgnNb

The biggest problem we have in our Military right now is @realDonaldTrump doesn’t know who our enemies are.
He’s “friends” with people who hate him.
His judge of character is flawed.
He’s doing business with Muslim leaders and now he thinks that they’re our friends but they’re… https://t.co/86bIl0YWx4
