President Donald Trump took aim at Taylor Swift on social media, resurrecting a feud with the pop star who backed former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
On his return to the U.S. from a highly successful trip to the Middle East, Trump took to Truth Social to suggest Swift has become less popular since his criticism of her.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’,” the president wrote.
Last year, after Swift endorsed Harris, Trump took to Truth Social to post, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
The singer praised Harris as “a steady-handed, gifted leader, and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
The president attended the Super Bowl in February, where he received resounding applause from the fans in the stadium when he was seen on the jumbotron screen. Swift, however, was booed by some in the crowd when she appeared as she watched her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

After the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, Trump took another dig at Swift.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” he wrote on Truth Social.
Swift has not been in the constant spotlight since the end of her Eras tour and the end of Kelce’s football season.
In a 2023 interview with Variety, Trump remarked that the singer was “unusually beautiful” and said, “I hear she’s very talented.”
“She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act? It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal,” he said at the time.
