Trump rips ‘raging lunatic’ John Fetterman: ‘Dresses like a teenager getting high in his parents’ basement’

When he wasn’t ripping into President Joe Biden for demonizing the American people or lambasting the political weaponization of the FBI, former President Donald Trump spent Saturday’s “Save America” rally tearing into the Democratic candidates running for office in Pennsylvania and to that end he singled out Lt. Gov. John Fetterman likening him to “a teenager getting high in his parents’ basement.”

Speaking before an enthusiastic crowd at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., Saturday, Trump campaigned for Republican gubernatorial candidate state Sen. Doug Mastriano and Senate hopeful Dr. Mehmet Oz. To that end, the president took pointed aim at the stroke-suffering, Marxist-moocher who seemingly outdid socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) with his ability to grift his way into adulthood.

“This guy’s a disaster,” Trump railed. “He comes in with a sweatsuit on. I’ve never seen him wear a suit. A dirty, dirty, dirty sweatsuit, it’s really disgusting. You know, I’m a clean freak. I’m a clean freak, Oz, I don’t like those dirty sweatsuits, that’s disgusting.”

“Fetterman may dress like a teenager getting high in his parents’ basement, but he’s a raging lunatic hell-bent on springing hardened criminals out of jail in the middle of the worst crime wave in Pennsylvania history. He wants everybody out of jail. And by the way, he wants to get rid of your police,” Trump continued reasserting the Democrats position of defunding the police despite the left’s recent attempt to assign that stance to Republicans.

During his tenure serving as Pennsylvania’s Lt. Gov. since 2019 Fetterman has pushed for policies that would allow for the mass release of prisoners suggesting he is “trying to get as many folks out as we can,” leading former Philadelphia police officer and president of the Protect Our Police political action committee Nick Gerace to assert, “He’s a danger to Pennsylvania.”

“We need to look at criminal justice change but you can’t let violent offenders back on the streets,” Gerace added.

Trump didn’t let up there on the Democratic candidate as he also drew a connection between Fetterman and the ongoing substance abuse epidemic plaguing America leading to the deaths of hundreds of thousands per year.

“Fetterman supports taxpayer funded drug dens and the complete decriminalization of illegal drugs including heroin, cocaine, crystal meth, and ultra lethal fentanyl–and, by the way, he takes them himself,” the president added, “which would mean death and despair for every community in Pennsylvania and every community in the United States of America.”

There is no evidence supporting the claim that Fetterman, who does support marijuana decriminalization, ever used illicit drugs.

The president would later reiterate his call “for the death penalty for drug dealers” backing up the punishment by stating, “I’ve told this and it’s a hard thing to say because calling for the death penalty stuff, but think of it, they kill 500 people during a lifetime, and I think it’s much worse than that.”

“I think that’s only what we hear about,” he continued. “It would stop. If you didn’t get it down 90 percent from day one, I’d be surprised.”
