Trump slams SCOTUS for ridiculous idea of giving trials to all illegals

A recent road bump in President Donald Trump’s mass deportation efforts had him calling out the Supreme Court alongside the “Radical Left” over the “ridiculous situation we are in.”

Over the weekend, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and six of the associate justices abruptly halted the removal of criminal illegal aliens regarding a suit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union. While Justice Clarence Thomas joined Justice Samuel Alito in dissenting, the rest were laid to waste by the president over the notion of a trial for every alien, “because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years.”

Taking to Truth Social to voice his frustration with the high court, Trump began, “I’m doing what I was elected to do, remove criminals from our Country, but the Courts don’t seem to want me to do that.”

“My team is fantastic, doing an incredible job, however, they are being stymied at every turn by even the U.S. Supreme Court, which I have such great respect for, but which seemingly doesn’t want me to send violent criminals and terrorists back to Venezuela, or any other Country, for that matter — People that came here illegally!” he went on.

“The Courts are intimidated by the Radical Left who are, ‘playing the Ref.’ Great Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito correctly wants to dissolve the pause on deportations. He is right on this! If we don’t get these criminals out of our Country, we are not going to have a Country any longer,” Trump called out as Alito penned the dissent of the 7-2 decision over the Venezuelan nationals held at the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Texas.

In part, the justice wrote, “In sum, literally in the middle of the night, the Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order.”

“I refused to join the Court’s order because we had no good reason to think that, under the circumstances, issuing an order at midnight was necessary or appropriate,” he added before calling out, “Both the Executive and the Judiciary have an obligation to follow the law.”

Trump concluded on the reality of the situation after the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies have flooded the country with illegal aliens, “We cannot give everyone a trial, because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years. We would need hundreds of thousands of trials for the hundreds of thousands of illegals we are sending out of the Country. Such a thing is not possible to do. What a ridiculous situation we are in. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The president’s position came as leftists attempted to switch gears from the targeted defense of the deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia, said to be a member of MS-13 by the Trump administration, to a broader defense of due process.

Meanwhile, the president, no stranger to lawfare and concerns over a two-tiered system of justice, also accused the radical left of threatening judges, before he went on to question, “How can Biden let Millions of Criminals into our Country, totally unchecked and unvetted, with no Legal authority to do so, yet I, in order to make up for this assault to our Nation, am expected to go through a lengthy Legal process, separately, for each and every Criminal Alien. As usual, TWO DIFFERENT STANDARDS, only leading to the Complete and Total Destruction of the U.S.A. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
