Former President Donald Trump blasted one of the “worst” anchors on television after he claimed the GOP nominee “decisively lost” the debate this week.
Trump tore into Fox News host Neil Cavuto for his critique of the former president’s performance in the ABC News debate against Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday.
“Neil Cavuto, Fox’s Lowest Rated Anchor, is one of the WORST on Television,” Trump wrote Wednesday on Truth Social. “I actually prefer the losers at CNN and MSDNC!”
During Wednesday’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” airing on Fox Business Network, the host concluded that Trump was “all over the map” in the debate against the Democrat nominee.
“He decisively lost. He might have made very good presentations on where the economy was, but it was all over the map,” Cavuto said. “This was the first occasion where it wasn’t just a close call, it was a lopsided one.”
In the immediate Fox News analysis following the debate, the network’s chief political analyst Brit Hume also dunked on Trump and the Harris campaign was happy to share the video clip.
“Trump had a bad night. He rose to the bait repeatedly when she baited him, something I’m sure his advisers had begged him not to do,” he said.

Anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum noted at the outset that Fox News had proposed a second Harris-Trump debate moderated by the network. But Trump threw cold water on that fire.
“I wouldn’t want to have Martha and Bret,” Trump told Fox News host Steve Doocy the morning after the debate.

“I’d love to have somebody else other than Martha and Bret. I’d love to have, frankly, Sean or Jesse or Laura. You know, somebody else,” he added, referring to Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters, and Laura Ingraham.
“Let’s give other people a shot.”
