Ohio Gov. sending troopers, $2.5 million to town invaded by Haitians

While a media that acts as a public relations arm for Democrat nominee Kamala Harris has been insisting that there is no problem in Springfield, OH, actions by the state’s governor show that they are lying again.

The invasion of the southwest Ohio city by thousands of Haitian migrants – some of whom have allegedly been capturing and eating cats – has sparked outrage and shined a light on the performance of Harris as President Joe Biden’s “border czar” at a time when the U.S. is being overrun by millions of illegal aliens, many of them violent criminals.

While the media is dismissive of the hellish situation of suffering Springfield residents, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is sending state troopers and $2.5 million to the beleaguered city of around 60,000 to help deal with the more than 15,000 Haitians who have been relocated there since the COVID pandemic.

“I want the people of Springfield and Clark County to know that as we move forward, we will continue to do everything we can to help the community deal with this surge of migrants,” the governor said in a press release. “The federal government has not demonstrated that they have any kind of plan to deal with the issue. We will not walk away.”

“Governor DeWine announced today that he is dedicating $2.5 million toward expanding primary care access for everyone living in Springfield. Governor DeWine has directed the Ohio Department of Health to work with the Clark County Health Department and other healthcare providers on this effort,” the press release read.

“To address the increase in dangerous driving in Springfield by inexperienced Haitian drivers and all others who disregard traffic laws, Governor DeWine directed the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) to support the Springfield Police Department with traffic enforcement. Beginning tomorrow morning, OSHP troopers will patrol local roads with the highest crash rates and hold accountable any driver who drives erratically and risks the safety of others,” according to the governor’s office.

DeWine doesn’t oppose the Temporary Protected Status program that has enabled the occupation of Springfield he said on Tuesday, hours before Harris faced off against former President Donald J. Trump and two ABC News moderators at the second nationally televised presidential debate.

Viral video of Springfield residents at a city council meeting came at a bad time for Harris who has been gaslighting voters that she’s tougher on the border than former President Trump, an outlandish lie that’s not being called out by her allies in the corrupt media.

The unconfirmed reports of some of the migrants snatching waterfowl from local parks and allegedly eating house pets have only amplified the story which is less about the poor cats and more about how the hordes of Haitians who won’t assimilate are being relocated to a town in middle America, with the idea dawning on many that it could be their town next.

DeWine was dismissive of the accounts of the cats which have spawned social media memes that were referenced by Trump at the debate and have the media melting down.

“This is something that came up on the Internet, the Internet can be quite crazy sometimes,” he told CBS News, stating that the mayor of Springfield insists that the stories are false.

“They have no evidence of that at all,” DeWine said.
