President Donald Trump revealed that the GOP will be hosting a “great American comeback” convention in Dallas, Texas.
The two-day event will be a first-ever “midterm convention” that aims to celebrate the achievements of Trump’s administration and the America First agenda. Policies like no tax on tips, border security and deportation, and energy independence are expected to be discussed, among many, many other issues that the president has been working on since retaking the White House.

This comes as Republicans are trying to maintain their thin majorities in the House and Senate.
Republican National Committee Chair Joe Gruters, who will be hosting the event, had previously called the planned event a “Trumpapalooza.”
“This convention will be a Trumpapalooza, where we will showcase the America First agenda, which has delivered the largest tax cut in history and made communities safer. President Trump will unite Republicans around our shared vision, build momentum, and deliver an incredible convention for our Party,” he said, echoing a description he had utilized in January.
