In an interview with TheBlaze host Glenn Beck, former President Trump intimated that when he is reelected president and returns to the White House, he’ll have no choice but to lock people up.
The interview took place on Tuesday and Beck bluntly asked Trump if he regretted not having former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton locked up. TheBlaze founder also asked the former president if he would go after those on the Left who are violating the law and are persecuting conservatives once he is reelected.
“You said in 2016, you know, ‘lock her up.’ And then when you became president, you said, ‘We don’t do that in America.’ That’s just not the right thing to do. That’s what they’re doing. Do you regret not locking her up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?” Beck asked the former president now that he’s been indicted four times.
“Well, I’ll give you an example. Uh, the answer is you have no choice because they’re doing it to us,” Trump responded, indicating he would be forced to do it.

“I always had such great respect for the office of the president and the presidency and… but the office of the president. And I never hit Biden as hard as I could have. And then I heard he was trying to indict me and it was him that was doing it,” Trump noted, putting the blame where it belongs.
“You know, I don’t think he’s sharp enough to think about much, but he was there and he was probably the one giving the order. But he was, you know, hard to believe that he even thinks about that because he’s gone. But then I said, well, they’re actually trying to indict me because every one of these indictments is him, including Bragg. But he put his top people,” he continued.
Trump went on to level very plausible accusations against President Biden, District Attorney Fani Willis, and the Democratic Party.
We’ve seen what happens when they *aren’t locked up*, unfortunately.

“I don’t know if you know this, he put his top person into the office of the Manhattan district attorney. They’ve been in total coordination with Fani Willis. The woman that I never met, that they accused me of rape, that’s being run by a Democrat, a Democrat operative, and paid for by the Democrat Party. You know, so many of these days, I have a couple of other lawsuits all funded against me by the Democrats. But these are sick people. These are evil people,” Trump stated, voicing what many, many Americans believe.
“And, it actually is an amazing thing. We talk about the public. The public is smarter than anyone can imagine because they understand what’s happening,” he added, noting that all of this political persecution has driven his poll numbers way up and increased his chances of being reelected.
The former president then delved into the unconstitutionality of the actions taken against him.

“They’re basically, they’re saying I don’t have a right to challenge an election,” Trump asserted.
The former president fully believes he will not have to campaign for the presidency in 2024 from behind bars but the Left is really going for that scenario. They are also setting up his trials in the middle of the presidential campaign season. Anything and everything to stop Trump from becoming president again because they fear he will keep his word and come after them.
