As the media smears those trekking to the border as part of the “Take Our Border Back” convoy, American patriots are protesting the US invasion by millions of illegal immigrants under the Biden administration.
“Calling all active & retired law enforcement and military, Veterans, Mama Bears, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, bikers, media and LAW ABIDING, freedom-loving Americans,” the convoy proclaimed on its website and posters promoting the events. “The time is now for We the People to peacefully assemble in honor of our Constitutional Rights to call on our government to Take Action and SECURE OUR BORDERS!”
The “Army of God” is being decried by the media as a bunch of dangerous Christian white nationalists and election deniers. They’ve even managed to get some left-leaning sheriffs in Texas to tell the convoy to stay away, not that it will make one bit of difference to the men and women who are on their way. Unfortunately for the left, by all accounts, this will not be another Jan. 6.
The convoy will travel thousands of miles from Norfolk, Virginia to the southern border to protest the hordes of illegal immigrants crossing into the country as Texas and its governor, Greg Abbott, draw a line in the sand and take a stand against the federal government over it. The parade of truckers and cars is reminiscent of the protests that took place on the Canadian border over COVID mandates, except this time Americans are leading the way.

“Craig Hudgins, a former United Airlines pilot-turned-Christian activist, urged those eventually planning to travel to Eagle Pass in Texas to ignore calls made on social media to use violence to make their point,” the Daily Mail reported.
“A handful of media outlets had seized on a string of inflammatory messages posted in the organizers’ Telegram channel as proof that the protest was merely a front for far-right extremists,” the outlet noted.
Those taking part in the protest waved American flags and held signs in support of those who have been imprisoned over the January 6 riot.
“People are making up all kinds of stuff,” Hudgins asserted during a speech delivered from the back of a pick-up truck as supporters prepared for their four-day journey. “This is about being a peaceful demonstration. We do not want our National Guard guys to take the brunt of what is going on.”
“I am hearing 40,000 truckers coming from all over the country,” he claimed before those attending bowed their heads in prayer and then recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Take our Border back Convoy starts (Jan-29- Feb-3rd) Truckers for Texas

The first leg of the journey reportedly ended at a stop in Jacksonville, Florida Monday night. The convoy then headed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Tuesday according to the Daily Mail. Rallies are set to take place in Texas, Arizona, and California.
The convoy is a bad look for President Biden in an election year as it will no doubt get a ton of coverage even if most of it is simply to vilify those taking part in it. According to the Daily Mail, the convoy has raised well over $130,000.
Many Americans are incensed over the reported 10 million+ illegal immigrants that have flowed into the country.
“The number of illegal immigrants in the country has roughly doubled under President Biden. The United States had some 10.2 million illegal immigrants in 2020, and another 10 million have entered during Biden’s presidency. If the 20 million illegal immigrants were all in one state, it would be tied with New York for the fourth most populated state,” The Hill reported.

The convoy also comes as Republicans have started impeachment proceedings against Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas over the border crisis. It’s also a black eye as Congress debates Biden’s aid packages for Ukraine and Israel. Conservatives are refusing to sign off on them unless the border is shut down and the tsunami of illegal immigrants is stopped. Democrats are trying to slip a version of the agreement through that would cap illegal immigrants at 5,000 a day. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson says that the agreement is dead on arrival over that proposal among others.
Texan Governor Greg Abbott is refusing access to Shelby Park by Biden’s border agents. Despite the Supreme Court ruling the federal government can cut concertina wire put in place on the Texas border, the state’s law enforcement are putting up even more and they are standing their ground against the Biden administration as well. Abbott is utilizing the National Guard and is adamant that Texas has a right to defend itself.
The governor has declared that Texas is being invaded which gives him the power to take control of the situation, claiming the state’s constitutional right to do so. He says since Biden has not done his duty to protect Texas, that Texans will do so themselves.
Incredible. A massive convoy of truckers is gearing up to take border security matters into their own hands.
Lt. Col. @DocPeteChambers has heard that “up to 700,000 people” will be heading to the southern border.

Right on cue, leftist Trump-hating media outlets are crying doom. Media Matters, Vice, and The Daily Beast, among others, are screaming that the convoy’s organizers include QAnon conspiracy theorists, election deniers, and anti-vaxxers. They appear to be deathly afraid of Christians… sort of like vampires and holy water.
One organizer named Kim Yeater said, “God’s army is rising up.”
“We are besieged on all sides by dark forces of evil,” another unnamed organizer told Vice in an interview.
