Minnesota Governor Tim Walz refused to answer a question about what he meant by his bizarre remark that he had “become friends with school shooters” during Tuesday’s vice presidential debate.
The far-left Democrat was reportedly wracked by a bad case of pre-debate jitters and a fear that he would let running mate Kamala Harris down if he performed badly against Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) who sliced and diced him during what can only be described as an unmitigated disaster for Walz.
But the worst blows weren’t landed by the Republican vice presidential nominee, they were self-inflicted, especially Walz’s strange answer to a question on his support for a ban on so-called assault weapons.

“I sat in that office with those Sandy Hook parents. I’ve become friends with school shooters. I’ve seen it,” the governor said in response to why he has flip-flopped and now supports the gun ban. Whoops.
After the nationally televised event, “Tampon Tim” and his wife Gwen Walz dropped by Justino’s pizza shop in Manhattan for a bite to eat, perusing the pies on display before deciding on a piece with sausage while ignoring a reporter who tried to get an answer on what he meant by his remark about the school shooters.

“Governor, you said that you’d become friends with school shooters during the debate,” asked the journalist. “Can you clarify what you meant on that?
Another reporter inquired, “Can you clarify what you meant when you said you befriended school shooters?”
The reporter also asked about another Walz whopper, his false claim that he was in Hong Kong during the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests that ended with the Chinese government killing hundreds of protesters.
“Why did you say you were in Hong Kong when reports say you weren’t?” She asked as the governor pretended to be transfixed by the delectables on display.
Walz completely ignored the questions, acting like he was only interested in the pizza rather than explaining a gaffe worthy of Joe Biden that could haunt him and the gun-grabbing Harris over the next five weeks.
“Did Tampon Tim just say he has ‘become friends with school shooters?’ He isn’t even qualified to be Governor, let alone Vice President. Walz and Kamala DO NOT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES!” Trump said on Truth Social, incredulously reacting to Walz’s epic gaffe.

“Walz made a very big mistake on Gun Shooters. Does anyone think he knows what he said? Will he have a News Conference after the Debate to apologize to the parents and others who were so horribly hurt?” Trump – who was doing live play-by-play coverage of the debate asked in another post.
If Harris and her handlers weren’t already having buyer’s remorse after picking Walz, caving to the anti-Semites of the base who threatened to revolt if Jewish Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro was tabbed, they are now.
