‘Tampon Tim’ reportedly has a serious case of pre-debate jitters

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is reportedly wracked with a bad case of pre-debate jitters as he prepares for the high-stakes vice presidential debate.

According to CNN, “Tampon Tim” has been stressing hard and has revealed that he’s “nervous” in advance of his nationally televised face-off against Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) who is far more polished than the dumpy and uncouth Walz.

The “coach” warned Democat nominee Kamala Harris that he was a “bad debater” when she tabbed him as her running mate and he’s reportedly worried that he could faceplant and let her down on Tuesday night.

Citing campaign stagers, the outlet reports that Walz “doesn’t want Harris to think she made the wrong choice” which is already a topic of speculation after the veep was forced to bypass Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro in a vital state to her hopes because the Democrats’ rabidly anti-Semitic base might revolt if she picked a Jew.

A hotheaded man who is akin to a bull in a China shop, Walz could lose his cool with Vance who according to CNN, “feels genuine contempt for and confusion over what he views as Vance’s abandonment of their common roots, and for flipping so many of his positions to fit with Trump.”

A hair-trigger temper and flair for tall tales could make for an interesting evening with the deft and educated Vance, who could goad his temperamental foe into an embarrassing trap.

“Walz is confident in Harris’ vision. But the governor fears he won’t make his case as well as he needs to, according to people who have been speaking with him,” according to CNN, which seems to be setting low expectations for Walz’s big national coming out party.

The governor has been prepping for the big night by squaring off with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg in practice sessions.

“Known for his quick wit and articulateness, Buttigieg has been tapped in his personal capacity to play Vance in mock debate sessions, a crucial move as Walz gets ready to take on Vance, whom the governor famously dubbed ‘weird,’” according to LGBTQ outlet The Advocate.

It could be that Walz is concerned that all of America will think that he’s a buffoon, a word used by CNN’s Scott Jennings to describe him in a complete demolition of the truth-challenged governor, to the shock and dismay of Jake Tapper and the stunned panel.

“Well, first of all, I don’t find him to be consequential,” he said, reacting to Democrat cheerleader Tapper’s comment that Walz is “incredibly consequential to Kamala Harris.

“Second of all, Walz is a buffoon, I’m sorry, this guy. He’s the only school teacher in America who brags that none of his students can get into an Ivy League school. He’s had one consequential press interaction with our Dana Bash, who asked him about the fabrications in his own resume, and his answer was essentially, ‘Me no understand words good.’ I mean, he’s a buffoon,” Jennings observed, horrifying his CNN colleagues.

“He’s on a free ride, for running under Harris, he gets very little press. They don’t let him talk to the press for a reason,” he added.

“I want one thing out of this debate. I want J.D. Vance to go out there and get under his skin. He has a legendary hot, short temper. A lot of governors do, but he apparently he does,” Jennings said. “I want J.D. Vance to go out there and have him explain why he is denigrating JD Vance’s story, Small-town America, ends up making something better out of his life, which is something we should want for every kid.”

Walz, who has been dubbed “Tampon Tim” for a law requiring feminine hygienic products to be put in boy’s school restrooms, lied about his military service and allowed violent criminals to burn down portions of the largest city in his state during the George Floyd race riots always had the makings of a ticking time bomb that could go off in Harris’ face at the worst possible moment.

Will he go BOOM on the debate stage?

Vance and Walz will face off on Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET in the CBS News debate moderated by Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan.
