Watters: Trump looks ‘good’ in mugshot ‘and I say this with an unblemished record of heterosexuality’

Fox News host Jesse Watters pointed out that former President Trump looked “good” and “hard” in his mugshot and that the Democrats have done what no one else could do… they made him into a martyr.

Watters made his comments on “The Five” Friday as the panel discussed Trump being booked into the notorious Fulton County Jail and having his mugshot taken. A mugshot that immediately went viral and became iconic across the globe. It spectacularly backfired on the Left and the Fox News host relished every single moment of it.

“And I am now going to book the Fulton County photographer for my Christmas card,” Watters jokingly told co-host Jeanine Pirro.

“Because Judge… and I say this with an unblemished record of heterosexuality, he looks good and he looks hard,” he added in what appeared to be a line from the TV sitcom “Seinfeld.”

Watters wasn’t the only one who thought that as many on social media either swooned over the mugshot or were invigorated with new patriotism and a determination to take their country back. Trump didn’t look weak or cowed in the mugshot… he looked ready to duke it out.

The more indictments that are piled on the former president, the more likely it becomes that he will be the 2024 GOP nominee. It’s not the result the Democrats were hoping for in the least. Trump is raising a ton of cash off it and conservatives are now doing their own memes in solidarity with him.

“Everyone’s talking about it. Black Americans online, some of them are saying, ‘I’m voting for Trump now,’ because they too have sometimes felt they’ve been unfairly targeted by the criminal justice system,” Watters claimed. “In this country, nationally, [if] one or two percent of the black votes swing to the Republicans, that’s the election right there.”

“The Democrats have overplayed their hand. They’ve done something that no one else has ever been able to do, and that’s make Trump a sympathetic character,” Watters asserted. “They’ve made him a martyr. And now I want to get arrested because I definitely need some sympathy.”

The Fox News host carried the sentiment over into his own show on Friday as well.

“No mugshot will ever be as iconic as the mugshot of Donald J. Trump, the most famous man in the world, the first-ever mugshot of a former president. Donald Trump’s mugshot has been the most sought-after image since the moment he rode down that golden escalator. Democrats in the media have been salivating at the thought of Donald Trump being booked in a jail cell,” Watters declared.

“The press is now saying this about the mugshot: ‘He wants you to look at him.’ Of course, the president enjoys flying around the country, getting arrested by Democrat prosecutors. It’s all a bid for attention as if Donald Trump was having trouble drawing attention to himself,” he snarked.

He wasn’t done mocking the Left over the mugshot. It is a hot mess that they have created because of their unbridled hatred of Trump and their sheer determination to put him behind bars and keep him out of the 2024 presidential race at all costs.

“The man has literally made billions through self-promotion, marketing, and branding. Do you really think he spent the last couple of years thinking, ‘You know, I was just president for four years and before that, I was a TV star, but the one thing I haven’t done is a mugshot. That will really get people to look at me.’ They compare his mugshot to Medusa. Once you look at him, your fate is already sealed,” Watters smirked.

Watters’ opinion concerning the mugshot was heavily agreed with on X:
