‘We’re working for you:’ White House misdirection comes as Biden extends ‘vacation’

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden wrapped up a 5-day visit to California, where they stayed at a donor’s home — the first couple traveled to Santa Barbara on Tuesday after the president delivered his career eulogy at the Democratic National Convention — and are flying home to Rehoboth Beach on Sunday.

The White House has not said how long Biden will be at his Delaware beach house, but the Federal Aviation Administration issued a restricted flight notice Friday, Aug. 23, beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, and ending at 12:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3, according to the Cape Gazette.

On Saturday, the White House posted a photo of the 81-year-old president and Vice President Kamala Harris, who is off campaigning, walking in the nation’s capital, along with the message: “We’re working for you.”

At this point, it’s almost as if the Biden-Harris administration is punking America.

Of course, that may be a best case scenario, according to New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, who had a much harsher take on the Commander in Chief essentially missing in action.

“America, this is a constitutional crisis. There is no Commander in Chief,” Devine posted on X. “After goofing off in Santa Barbara all week, POTUS is taking another vacation at his beach house from Sunday for NINE days – I thought it was just until this Tuesday but it’s the following week. If he is incapable of doing the job, his VP needs to step up.”

The columnist’s assessment of nine days is based on the FAA “No Fly Zone” alert, and while President Biden could depart sooner there’s not much of an argument that he has been pretty much absent since the Obama Machine™ allegedly orchestrated a coup to push Biden aside as the Democratic nominee, with a heavy assist from Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Social media users are convinced that Biden has “completely checked out”… and that Harris is complicit in the conning of America.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
