Melissa Cohen, wife of the scandal-ridden first son, Hunter Biden, was spotted leaving a pricey Malibu restaurant known for hosting wealthy beachgoers and Hollywood’s elite, at a time when her hubby appears to be keeping his head down to avoid questions about his controversial foreign business dealings.

Cohen, 35, caught a photographer’s eye on her way out of the acclaimed Nobu beachside restaurant, where a dish of Black Cod with Miso will run patrons 42 bucks. Pairing it with a nice bottle of wine will add at least $56 and as much as a staggering $8,800 to the bill. The restaurant’s celebrity clientele includes Travis Scott, Justin Bieber, and Ben Affleck.

After lunch, Cohen, under the watchful eyes of plain-clothed, earpiece-wearing Secret Service agents, was driven to a friend’s Malibu home, Fox News reports.

A filmmaker and activist from South Africa, Cohen married Hunter Biden in 2019, just six days after meeting him.

“I instantly fell in love with her,” Biden told ABC News in the year they met. “And then I’ve fallen in love with her more every day.”

Cohen gave birth to the couple’s son, Beau, a year after they married, in May 2020, five months before the now-infamous “laptop from hell” story broke in the New York Post.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the federal probe into Biden’s foreign business dealings is heating up. Federal Delaware prosecutors are seeking grand jury testimony about Biden’s income from foreign sources, including money he received as a member of the board of directors of Burisma Holdings Ltd, a Ukrainian natural gas company at the center of much of the Hunter Biden controversy.

Meanwhile, as American Wire News reported last week, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has expressed concerns that Hunter Biden’s alleged business ties to China, including deals with Chinese elites tied to the Chinese Communist Party valued at $31 million, may have created a “blackmail opportunity” for China against the United States.

“We don’t have any records that would prove anything along that line, but when you have people high up in the Chinese government and business community and, you know, what they want to do is they want ins in the United States for their own political benefit, the that’s concerning,” Grassley said in an appearance on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom.”

Senator Grassley, along with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) took to the Senate floor last week with a receipt showing “the state-controlled Chinese energy company CEFC paid Wells Fargo Clearing Services $100,000 with ‘further credit’ going to Owasco, Hunter Biden’s firm,” Fox News reports.

“CEFC operated under the guise of a private company but was for all intents and purposes an arm of the Chinese government,” Grassley said. “Hunter Biden and James Biden served as the perfect vehicle by which the communist Chinese government could gain inroads here in the United States through CEFC and its affiliates.”

This week, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee sent Biden’s legal team a letter asking their firm to “immediately” preserve all records related to Biden’s business dealings while former President Barack Obama was in the White House, as well as any records related to his foolishly forgotten, now-infamous laptop from hell.
