White House cuts Biden’s audio, visual feed as reporters ask about Hunter’s laptop – so awkward

President Joe Biden was peppered with questions Friday at the end of a meeting with researchers and patients to discuss ARPA-H, billed as a new cutting-edge health research agency, and the White House was quick to cut first the audio and then the visual feed.

Among the questions being thrown out were requests for comment on Hunter Biden’s laptop, following last week’s New York Times story about the federal tax probe of the first son that confirmed the emails from the laptop abandoned at a Delaware repair store were indeed authentic — the corporate media has had little interest in reporting on this development, and White House press secretary Jen Psaki has been busy dodging all inquiries.

As for President Biden, he sat there Friday at his fake White House set staring blankly while squirming and chewing his cud as reporters called out to him.

Biden reportedly spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping for two hours on Friday as well, and there were also questions about this,

The White House released a statement on the call:

President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. spoke today with President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The conversation focused on Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. President Biden outlined the views of the United States and our Allies and partners on this crisis. President Biden detailed our efforts to prevent and then respond to the invasion, including by imposing costs on Russia. He described the implications and consequences if China provides material support to Russia as it conducts brutal attacks against Ukrainian cities and civilians. The President underscored his support for a diplomatic resolution to the crisis. The two leaders also agreed on the importance of maintaining open lines of communication, to manage the competition between our two countries. The President reiterated that U.S. policy on Taiwan has not changed, and emphasized that the United States continues to oppose any unilateral changes to the status quo. The two leaders tasked their teams to follow up on today’s conversation in the critical period ahead.

While the “big guy” is not likely to be answering any questions about the laptop or his son’s dubious business practices anytime soon, social media users were less than impressed with the latest dodge.

Here’s a sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
